Beautifully clean character cottage in a village Village well located for beautiful beaches
We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage, which used to be a pub. On arrival, it was beautifully clean and there were many extra little touches to make our stay more comfortable.
We loved:Fully equipped kitchen;Spacious rooms;Black out blinds in all bedrooms;Open plan kitchen-diner;Comfy beds, bedding;Lovely village, great local shop and pub, playground up the lane;Perfect access to surf beaches (Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton), plus paddleboard beaches (Combe Martin).Generally a beautiful cottage that felt like home from home for our two week holiday. We didn't like:Very steep, open staircase (only a consideration for families with very young children/toddlers).Garden is not actually attached to the house (again probably only a major consideration for families with young children re. being able to sit out there post bedtime/during breakfast).
