Ski Lease - Available for 4 to 5 months. This is the ‘signature’ unit at Olympic Valley’s coveted VALLEY VIEW townhome community. ‘Coveted’ because these are the only 2-story townhomes at the West End of the Valley (no one above or below you) and have been recently undergone a million-dollar exterior upgrade. Fully-appointed custom kitchen. Park your car 10 steps from your front door. Snow removal is provided to your doorstep. The unit has been thoroughly remodeled and is nicely appointed. Valley View #1 is 1100 sq ft and perfect for two couples or a small family. It also has an exclusive amenity; an added airlock entry with adjoining walk-in storage for skis, boots and snowboards. The VV HOA does not permit dogs for vacation rentals.

The main road location provides amazing unobstructed, panoramic views of the entire ski area, the Village and the golf course meadow through two large picture windows. Sliding glass doors to a small deck offer similar views. When you wake up in the morning views of the ski area are available from the comfort of your bed. Beautiful morning and sunset vistas. You see the twinkling of the lights from the Village … a six to eight minute walk to nightlife and numerous restaurants.

You are a short drive to Tahoe City and Truckee for additional restaurants and nightlife.

Location was perfect and we were able to walk to slopes each day in our ski boots. condition of Townhouse was very great and we had a washer and dryer which was helpful.

Wonderful place for a small family to stay.

Staying here feels like you are in a cozy weekend home, not a rental. The condo is beautifully equipped with everything you need to be comfortable and make great meals. The beds are high quality, including the linens. Owners have thought of everything and are highly-communicative and vested in you having a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Great little condo, right across from Squaw

We loved our stay in this little 2 bdroom. It is clean, well appointed and extremely convenient. The owners are also fantastic people. I unfortunately got my car broken into on my way up from SF, and only made it in the day after my scheduled arrival. Jacki immediately offered me an additional night as the apartment was not booked after our departure. Great experience... I will likely return here.

Unbelievable Property - Walking Distance to Squaw

My wife and I recently stayed at this property. The pictures of the view on VRBO are beautiful, but could never do justice to how amazing the view truly is. The proximity to Squaw Village and lifts is literally a 7 minute walk. Jacki (the owner) is incredibly accommodating, and easy to communicate with with very quick responses. She provided tons of information about the area, and the condo specifically. We traveled up during a snowstorm, got snowed in, and couldn't have had a more delightful time. Pros: - View is spectacular - Fireplace is gaslog and works incredibly well at warming up the place - Large HD TV + Blu-ray in living room. Nice sound system. HD Cable. - Ultra comfy sofas - VERY well-equipped kitchen (sharp knives too). I cook and didn't want for anything - Sleep number mattress in King room (if you like Sleep Number) - Regular pillow top mattress in Queen room (very comfy) + good choice of pillows - Hot water actually gets hot - Washer and dryer came in handy - Full bathroom upstairs in living area - Ironing board, hair dryer, Epsom salt, soap & shampoo... the level of hospitality provided is amazing. Cons: - Bedrooms are both downstairs, share a hall bathroom, and are in very close proximity. But totally not a big deal. And I liked not having to haul luggage upstairs. - Condo is right at the mountain, so if you're sensitive to road noise, bring a white noise machine or phone app. Windows and doors are high quality and keep it out well. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Great value for the price!

I stayed at Jacki and Michael's place for my sister's wedding and I so so happy with how it turned out. You are close enough to walk to the mountain, while still having a break from all the commotion. There is a running trail across the street that borders a beautiful meadow. The wedding guests that stayed in the Village complained of late night partying, while we had a cozy home with full kitchen and slept fantastic. Can't recommend it enough. Won't find a better price!

Excellent Property

We just spent 3 nights skiing at Squaw and was very happy with this property. It’s close to the mountain, you could even walk but the road is a bit busy. If you don’t want to drive there is the convenience of the Mountaineer that will pick you up at the property and drop you off in the village. The property is very comfortable and has everything you would need - the kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of towels, a washer and dryer and storage for ski equipment. In addition, the owners are very responsive and easy to book with. We had a great stay and are looking forward to coming back!

Perfect everything!

From the moment we arrived it was just perfect. It was clean, small yet spacious and walking distance to The Village. This condo lacked nothing, everything was perfectly placed. The owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Cant wait for my next stay!

beautiful home in the valley, close to everything

I've rented many ski condo over the years, but this is the first one that I've rented that is truly a home. The owners have taken meticulous care of the place and it is well equipped with everything that you many need for a short or long stay. Booking was easy and the owners were very responsive throughout the process. There is plenty of room for 2 cars, but you can walk to the far east lift or village. This is a great place for 2 couples or a family looking to enjoy all that the Squaw Valley/Lake Tahoe area has to offer.

Wonderful Condo Close to Squaw Valley

This residence is beautifully maintained and located less than a mile from the village at Squaw Valley. The owners are very responsive to communications and exceptionally hospitable. We had travel plans outside of the standard arrival and departure times, and they were very accommodating of our schedule. I highly recommend this property and its owners.

Great view, very well equipped and helpful owners

Our family of 4 had a great time staying at the unit. It is the closest unit to the road, but you can't hear the traffic, and the road was down behind the snow. Parking is right in front of the unit and makes getting in and out very easy. The view was incredible from the upstairs living area. The unit was well equipped in all respects, and made our stay very comfortable and easy. The owners were easily contacted, and addressed all of our questions. We would absolutely stay in the unit again!

Perfect housing for a ski-vacation

We have now stayed at this house three times and have loved it each time. Jacki is the perfect host, replying to all contacts fast and in a very kind way, the house itself is perfect for 4-5 people, with 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice kitchen area, TV with netflix etc and only about half a mile to the parking lot in the Olympic Village. We actually sometimes walked there. All in all a very nice house to stay in and highly recommended

Wonderful home & the best views!

We stayed at Jacki and Mike's townhome in early January and it was perfect for our family of four. They did such a wonderful job to make the space warm and inviting. They also provided all the amenities to make it feel like home with everything you could need in the kitchen to make your own meals, comfortable linens, and easy to use entertainment system. The layout is very comfortable with the living space on the second floor and bedrooms on the the first. The whole upstairs has the most amazing views of Squaw and provides such wonderful light to the home. Our little boys especially loved watching people fly down the mountain when eating breakfast. We also really enjoyed using the fireplace every night to warm up the home. The bedrooms downstairs are also very comfortable and spacious, perfect for our little boys. The proximity to the village is the best part. It was so easy to come and go, especially to get our little boys home for naps. Jacki was great to communicate with, super friendly, very responsive, and even provided early in/late check out. We also missed a night due to a huge storm, and she was generous enough to provided a refund. We can't say enough good things about our visit! We can't wait to stay there again!

We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Squaw.

This condo exceeded our expectations and was immaculate, thoughtfully decorated, and cozy. The furnishings are luxurious and up-to-date, and the view is picturesque. The kitchen and bathrooms are high-end and spacious. Its location is perfect: just a 1-minute drive to the Village, yet far enough that you're away from the congestion and high traffic. The landlords, Jacki and Mike, went so far above and beyond helping us plan our trip, that it felt like we had a personal travel agent. Months before our trip, they thoroughly answered any questions we had and suggested local hot spots, sightseeing, and more. We were on the fence about renting a car, and Jacki strongly recommended doing so, which exponentially enhanced our entire experience. They checked in with us, even while on their own vacation, and continually showed us how much they truly cared about newcomers to Squaw Valley. As the title states, our stay was so perfect that when we return to Squaw Valley, it will be impossible to stay anywhere else!

Great location for a Tahoe getaway

Our family (2 adults, 2 elementary age children) spent a lovely 4-day ski trip at Squaw. The condominium worked our very well for a party of 4. Its nicely located close enough to Squaw to walk to the amenities, and far enough away to avoid the crowds. The property is very clean, new amenities, and well stocked. Michael and Jacki were very proactive and responsive to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible,

Excellent property, very well appointed, great location with fabulous view.

The title says it all. This is really a prime Squaw Valley condominium with the best view of the valley and resort.. It has been thoroughly upgraded throughout with high end work and worked well for 2 adult couples, though a family with kids would also work. The location is excellent for a short walk to all restaurants in the Olympic Village area, though it also has a well stocked kitchen in case you prefer to be your own chef. We will definitely stay here again.

Immaculately clean interior, quality furniture and appliances, convenient location, friendly owners!

My wife, daughter and fiancé joined me for a 4-day ski trip at Squaw. The listing accurately described the property, which was very clean and well maintained. They provided a nice selection of DVD's and cable channels for the HD TV, which were useful during the heavy snowfall and evening hours. The kitchen is modern and equipped with quality cookware, dishes and flatware. The washer and dryer looked new and owners supplied detergent and softener. The owners were very accommodating and made an extra effort to ensure I could pay by credit card as well as early check in. The location was fantastic, just a short 5-min walk across the street to the lifts or a bit longer to reach the base village at Squaw. Near to the condo there is a ski shop that's a bit more convenient than the ski shops at the base village. There's a supermarket for grocery shopping only 8-miles away so we stopped there to stock up before arrival. During our stay it snowed continuously and someone routinely removed the snow from the parking lot and outdoor walkway. The price was fair and reasonable and the property was worth every penny. I strongly recommend others rent this unit from this owner; I know I will again!

The best winter vacation!!!

Hello everyone! We stayed in this wonderful condo during 2015-2016 Christmas Holidays (from 12/22 to 01/02), and it was unforgettable experience! First of all, we'd never been to the Squaw Valley before that vacation, so we were new comers. Now, as an experienced person, I would say it's a great place for a ski-vacation, specifically for a family. There was an excellent ski-school for children all ages, and we had a option for a half day (morning or afternoon) or a full day. When I saw my 5-year-old boy skiing, I became crazy!!! As concerns adults, there are so many lifts for any level, that we didn't want to leave by the end of the every single day!!! Second, the location of the condo is perfect because it's literally next to the mountains; another words, you don't have to spend much time driving there! Additionally, I'd like to say some nice words about the condo and the landlords, Jacki&Mike. The condo is equipped with everything that you need; moreover, everything looks new, clean, and works well!!! Undoubtedly, Jacki&Mike accommodate their guests as much comfortable as it's possible, and I appreciate their willingness to provide a high level service. This winter is so beautiful because of lots snow that we didn't want to leave!!!

wonderful stay

We stayed here for a week of enjoying Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe. It did not disappoint--the home was extremely well appointed and comfortable. All of the details were thoughtfully covered to make our stay very enjoyable. And for skiiers, you could no get a more convenient location.

Cozy, convenient, well-appointed condo seconds from Squaw

This duplex condo (ground level and 2nd floor) is perfectly situated a short walk from the lifts at Squaw. It is nicely appointed with all of the necessary amenities, including strong WiFi, an excellent LED TV and BlueRay player, high-efficiency washer and dryer, and all of the kitchen tools and wares you would need to cook full meals (including good knives!). It is perfect for a small family or two couples, and the location is superb. Plus, the owners are local and very nice. Every previous Tahoe property we rented had at least some failing (eg. bad beds, drafty or cold conditions, cheap or insufficient kitchen wares, or poorly maintained furnishings or structures), but this place is well cared for and well outfitted for any discerning family. We WILL return.

Wonderful Condo

We had such a great stay in this condo. It's very quiet no one above or below you in this unit. It is so close to Squaw Skiing Village you could walk there. I always use VRBO for our vaccations and this place had the best equipped kitchen by far. It is really clean and super comfy. I highly recommend a stay here and we will be staying here again.
