Discover this brilliant top-floor, 3-bedroom plus spacious family room loft in Olympic Valley. This peaceful condo offers a serene escape for guests. The main living area with oversized sectional sofa, gas fireplace, and flat-screen wall mounted TV, is super comfy and can easily handle a big crowd. The kitchen is fully equipped, including spices; just bring your groceries and settle in! The bedrooms feature a comfortable king bed in the primary bedroom, 1 queen bed in the guest room, and a full-size trundle with a pullout single bed in the kids' room. The family room loft features two super comfy sofas. There are two bathrooms, both with a bathtub/shower combo, bath and shower gels and soaps, towels, and a hair dryer, so your personal amenities are available. Laundry closet with full-size W/D. Especially enjoyable is the deck patio with an electric BBQ and a dining table for eight. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like heating, iron, portable AC for the summer months, WiFi, flat-screen TV, and plenty of warm extra blankets for hanging out in the winter. The condo is beautifully furnished and equipped with all your needs. The pool, hot tub, tennis and pickleball area has its own changing rooms with saunas and is accessible to all our guests. Fabulous rental! The location is perfect for skiing at Palisades, the beds are comfortable, and the pillows on the master bed (the only one I slept on) are amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked. The unit is spacious and comfortable for a large extended family. My jets in the jacuzzi are very strong, so my husband was very happy. I would definitely rent here again when visiting Palisades.

We spent absolutely amazing Christmas with the family. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The kitchen had everything one needed including a stand up mixer. The accommodations were lovely! This was a blessing since we were hit with over 80 inches of snow during our 6 night stay and our trip became more of a snow vacation than a skiing one. Beds in the master, guest and loft were really comfortable. (Our toddler slept in their own crib in the kid's room). An abundance of towels for both bath and hot tub were provided as well as comfy blankets on the couches. The kitchen had an open pantry for our food and was well stocked with pans, utensils, spices. The location is perfect for skiing with a quick drive to both Palisades and Alpine or the option for taking a shuttle. Our host provided us all the information we needed for easy check in and out. She was also very responsive to any questions we had and made us feel welcome.

Prime location, close to Palisades & Lake Tahoe. Great size, comfy beds, quiet, & super clean!

We enjoyed cooking in kitchen, using barbecue, hanging on comfy couch. Beds were comfy, nice size bathrooms, & super clean. Paradise was very close and we could easily walk there on a beautiful path. Park nearby was also a plus! 10 minutes to Tahoe City or Truckee. We would stay there again. Appreciate all the clear instructions too!

Wonderful Ski Vacation!

My family enjoyed staying at the condo for our annual mountain ski vacation. The condo was spacious and clean. The kitchen had all the essentials plus extra spices and non perishable foods. The fireplace kept the living space warm and cozy. We appreciated the thick robes to get to and from the hot rub. My only suggestion would be to have a path from the stairs to the hot tub area. Walking over the snowy/icy hill was difficult. Overall we had a great time! We highly recommend this condo!

The location on Olympic Valley Road just 1-mile to Palisades Ski Resort is ideal for easy access to skiing a world class mountain and all outdoor activites, yet far enough away from the frenzy and traffic of Palisades Village. Depending on the time of year, my wife, Kathy and I travel/live between Los Altos Hills CA, Loreto MX, and Olympic Valley CA. We enjoy skiing, fly fishing, golfing, biking, traveliing and being in the great outdoors. We have a residential and commerical real estate business but #54 Tavern Inn is our personal vacation rental for ourselves and our guests, like you. :)

Why they chose this property

Tavern Inn Condominiums is in a prime location with close proximity to Palisades Ski Resort (free shuttle service during ski season), and equa-disgtance to Tahoe City, the lake and all it has to offer and historic downtown Truckee offering a nostalgic step back in time.
What we enjoy most is the hiking/running/biking trails right from the condo, the paved river path access across down the street, and tranquil wooded setting with private access to our pool, hot tub and sauna. Tavern Inn Condo #54 is one of the largest condos in the complex with cathedral ceilings and an exteded patio balcony deck overlooking the wooded center courtyard.

What makes this property unique

We are one of the largest condos in Tavern Inn with cathedral ceilings, 3 bedroom plus a loft, covered garage parking in the winter, and end building location on the top floor offering more windows and sunlight during the day since there is no balcony or covered walk-way above us. Once can take in the sunshine or the snowfall to their hearts content!
