Welcome to Windwatch Cottage! A relaxed coastal vibe mixing old world cottage with a modern design touch. This home boasts one of the best views in the Outerbanks with direct access to the water and own pier. Sip your morning coffee with a breath-taking sunrise & experience the colorful sound sunset from the warm hot tub! Grab the paddle boards or kayak from the closet, and take in all the sound has to offer from the water. Oceanside beach, coffee shops, restaurants & bar are a short walk.
The space
Step inside this freshly renovated home with an open floor plan and gorgeous views! This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath cottage has a large expansive deck overlooking the Pamlico Sound. 2 bedrooms located on the main level offer a queen bed and a full bathroom in each. One bathroom offers a shower, while the other offers a bathtub/shower combo. Upstairs, you will find a playful bunk room with 4 twin beds, a pullout twin couch, and a 1/2 bathroom. There is a smart tv in the bunk room as well as one in the living room. Board games and books galore.

The deck offers a hot tub, multiple lounge chairs to take it all in, and a picnic table underneath the covered porch. Down the patio steps you will find a heated outdoor shower, owners outdoor closet with 2 paddle boards, a kayak, beach chairs, and a cooler.

The water is fairly shallow and sandy just off the deck/pier so a good spot for swimming, playing in the water and launching your boards!

Fantastic time!

Seven friends stayed very comfortably in this house. The location was amazing— easy walk to the beach and water front on the sound. The access to the chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, and other beach equipment was such a perk, and the house was beautiful, clean, and just the right size. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Hope I can make it back to this spot in the future!

25th Anniversary DREAM!

My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway from our busy schedules to enjoy 25 years of marriage. This home was PERFECT! From the sunset views on the deck, close proximity to the beach, Serena and Lily inspired coastal decor, fully equipped kitchen, and peaceful atmosphere we left fully refreshed! We are still talking about the deck and can’t wait to return!

Beach houses in the Outer Banks can be hit or miss. This one is a home run. Hosts are amazing. Communication is excellent. The property is a gem. The inside is a peaceful oasis and the outside is two skips and a jump straight into the sound. You’ll watch kayak fisherman pulling in mullet and trout from your deck. Or, if you’re smarter, you’ll be on the included kayaks in catching them yourself. Keeper blue crabs off the backyard dock. Sunsets from a movie. SuPaddleboarding the Avon canals…Listen, you haven’t got all day and I could go on forever. I think you found the place.
