12 acres next to 100's of acres of federal forest. Fire pit to enjoy those cool nights and close to ATV trails. Lots of fishing lakes and trout fishing rivers nearby. Local beaches within 10 minutes from house. So very quiet and a place to unplug from busy life. Each bedroom has its own theme.Walk the trail behind the house to experience nature. The space You have access to the entire house and the forest around you. The garage is not accessible for parking.The house has been sanitized via Covid 19 regulations. We offer extras so you don’t have to run to the store. Guest access You have access to entire house and 12 acres to roam. Other things to note Pets are allowed with prior approval of breed due to insurance guidelines. Pets must be kept leashed at all times due to wild animals in area. No more people than reservation stated, no parties and no additional guests added after initial reservation. No smoking in house. If these house rules are broken, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

Stayed at this location for a couple days on the way to the UP. Took a boat trip and hiked around Pictured Rocks and loved the area. This house has fantastic amenities-we used the bikes and grilled outside. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The Hiawatha Forest is so unbelievably beautiful and serene. Everyone can find something to do and enjoy. From fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing, skiing, tubing, skating, snorkeling, snowboarding and just sitting outside near a fire and listening to quiet while looking at the stars.
