The apartment was spacious and beautiful and so clean! We were able to walk to shops and restaurants just a few minutes away. We had a question and the owner got back to us right away. The only complaint is that Sturgeon Bay is a bit far from the rest of Door County so once we left for the day we didn’t come back until night time. But there are great restaurants in Sturgeon Bay for breakfast and dinner.
It was so easy to check in and we had everythig we needed. It was clean and very cute decor. The host was super supportive and reach ojt to make sure everything went smoothly. I'm definitely going to book again.
Super clean, very comfortable and little touches of decor and thoughtfulness make the stay extra cozy. Great location, easy parking, soft sheets, perfect place for a quiet stay.
Very lovely old house, with great location. It's a short walk to many restaurants, coffee houses, and shops. Most of the places we wanted to go were within a half hour drive. It's very comfortably decorated and cozy.
Carrie and Josh are amazing hosts! Great communication before and throughout the stay, very clean property, and her Doorcounty visitors guide was amazing! Would recommend her properties to anyone.
For the price point this is a great rental. Neighborhood leaves something to be desired, reno was taking place in the house next door but we realize that is out of hosts control. Bed was so comfortable. Bathroom a little small. Sturgeon bay is a wonderful place to stay to explore the county. Communication with host was excellent. Thank you!
My husband and I found this apartment to be EVERYTHING we look for in a rental...impeccably CLEAN, comfortable, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we need at a price we can afford. The house is very old yet has been recently updated with new floors and modern touches. Sometimes old places feel kinda dirty to me but not this place because the new touches make it feel so nice and clean and "new". Kitchen and bathroom are all new!
We slept comfortably in the queen sized bed with black out curtains enjoyed the natural light from all of the second story windows throughout the place.
Both a Keurig and drip coffee maker are provided! Coffeemaker wasnt in pics so that was a pleasant surprise.
The property is in a quiet neighborhood in town, and a couple coffee shops and a small free art gallery (inside the library building) are all short walks.
The owner created a great visitor guide with short descriptions and a pic of her favorite places/things to do, complete with QR codes to quickly access websites/menus. We liked this touch and took several of her suggestions.
Owner and property manager were quick to reply and also reached out to us to make sure we were doing well.
We are grateful to have stayed here, and we hope to have the privilege of coming again next year.
Cute apartment and the owner/manager were very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.

About the host
Hosted by Josh Brown
I'm your host, Carrie. I was born and raised in northern Door County and am raising my 4 kids here in Fish Creek! You'll find me homeschooling at a local coffee shop, feeding chickens at home, or down at our house in Madeira Beach, FL escaping some of the snowier weather :)
Why they chose this property
This property had been neglected for a LONG time. It was so sad to see the condition it was in. From the exterior to all 4 of the units, it needed a lot of love! Renovations took almost a year, making it my longest project to date. All of the units have a different feel, and the design project was super challenging because of it! I hope you enjoy the unique personality of the units and the old world charm that still runs throughout the building.
What makes this property unique
Tucked away off of Michigan St. we are only 3 blocks from historic 3rd Avenue! There is so much to do and see right downtown Sturgeon Bay and we are super excited to present this property to you!
