About the host
Hosted by Chuck and Debbie Valley
Born & Raised in New Jersey as were my children. My husband and Father were born and raised in Alpena Michigan. It has always been our summer getaway to enjoy Family, Camping, Boating and Fishing. When it came time to retire we knew we wanted Alpena to be our forever home.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is very tranquil and welcoming. Many neighbors are out early enjoying the beautiful sunrises. It is a nice quiet road to run, walk or bike ride. People are also out on the lake kayaking, jet skiing, boating or fishing. There is plenty of wildlife, from the deer and rabbits on the roadside to the loons and other water fowl on the lake.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique as most would expect a small cabin or home on the water. Our home is over 3200 sq ft. There is plenty of room to have all generations, Grandparents, Parents, Children & Grandchildren enjoy time together. There is a large driveway for you bring your boat trailer or snow mobiles in the winter. What ever your pleasure it is a great central location. The Partridge Point area is known for finding fossils and special stones on the beach.
