My husband's reaction when we stepped inside was, "Wow! This is one of the nicest places we've stayed at." We enjoyed our time there very much. There are so many little details that make your stay more enjoyable. We are hoping to stay there again in the future.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Loved the decor, very clean, beds were comfortable. Easy to get to various places in Alpena. The owner has really thought of everything you might need while staying there.

this is an older home which has been remodeled in the most charming way. All rooms are comfortable. Easy to settle in to many spots. Great space for yoga upstairs! The only wish we have are for more outlets - but it’s an old house so that did not hamper our stay at all! our host has put convenient bedside USB plug-ins next to every bed which was perfect! Block and a half walk to the shore – 30 minute walk to downtown. Really loved this property!

Cute, charming, well decorated and carefully thought out home with a huge master suite! We enjoyed trips to the local ice cream and coffee shops, a super cute movie theather in town featuring new releases, a fun little putt-putt course and of course the beautiful beach and splash park that are minutes away. The hosts were super attentive and thoughtful. Leaving snacks and travel supplies for us to enjoy, and responding quickly to any questions we had.Just beyond the town and only 8 minutes away you'll find big brand stores for your shopping needs, fast food, and the best Starbucks we've been to.We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home for a quiet time away, or a couples/ family trip near the beach. I'm sure winter brings its own fun too!

Beautiful Property and Location

The house looks like a converted barn on the outside, very cute. The inside is absolutely gorgeous. Spotless, well decorated, and plenty of room. A TV upstairs and downstairs is great. They have it stocked with board games and kid toys all in wonderful condition. Jennie was super responsive to messages. A wonderful beach and playground is within walking distance. Highly recommend!
