We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. A small, quaint space in an excellent location within walking distance of many different spots. Our dog had plenty of room to relax downstairs (loft area is not large) and once the AC cranked up, it was very comfortable.
It is always important to us that our dog be welcome so that is a big plus for this property. It is also walking distance to the sweet town of Dunedin's shops, restaurants, breweries, and parks.
Cozy little cottage in a great location in downtown Dunedin. Steps away from great Restaurants and Breweries. Cottage was clean and accommodating, even with organic snacks and coffee provided, which i appreciate. Highly recommend for a family or friend trip to Dunedin.
I love Dunedin, and the loft was the perfect location for being within walking distance to Main Street's shops and restaurants. The property was clean and had everything I needed. If you're a light sleeper, be sure to pack ear plugs given the proximity to Skinner Blvd.
Located on very business intersection, so a lot of traffic noise. Loft and bathroom are very small. The downstairs was excellent, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable.

Hi Candy - we do have a noise machine to assist with this and I hope you were able to use it. The description also states it is in a busy place. Thanks for staying.
We were able to check in early, which was a great opportunity to get our weekend started. Our accommodations met our expectations... clean and comfortable. The cottage is close to downtown and was an easy walk. We went all the way to the pier, and meandered through the many shops and restaurants on our way back. The Clear Sky Draught House right across the street was right on. We stopped there on our way down Main and again at the end of the evening. Although they have a great menu, we got a pizza to take home. Delicious!!
The cottage on Skinner Blvd is a great place to stay. Sleeping in the loft was fun, and the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely keep this on our "go-to" list in the future.

Thank you so very much for this review! You were an easy guest to host :-)
We arrived, set our bags down then we were going to walk across the street for drinks and the door lock would not unlock, then wouldn’t lock. Called the property manager who reset the lock on her end.
I opted to sleep upstairs after finding a roach downstairs. A smaller one ran to the sofa leg and up into the sofa bed. The property managers response was ‘that’s why we have pest control’ and something to the effect of we live in Florida.
I’ve lived in Florida all my life. I don’t live with bugs nor do I want to pay someone to share the space with bugs. Your response was very dismissive and your apology sounded false, even via text.
The bed was uncomfortable. It kept dipping in the middle and the air was humid. I cannot imagine sleeping here in the hot summer months. The bed is next to the flimsy railing in the upstairs loft. Whatever you do, don’t put any weight against it.
We left in the morning and did not take advantage of the owners kind gesture of a late checkout.
Looks great but not worth the cost.

Hi Magda I am sorry for your interpretation of my response. The locks are brand new and I did everything I could on my end to help you. I appreciate your comment on the bed. I take these comments under consideration since we have not had those comments in the 2 years we've hosted this property. I will personally test it out and thank you for your stay. Please communicate with your next hosts on your unfavourability prior to leaving a review so they could make it right.
We were looking for a place in Dunedin to stay while we remodeled our own property. We did have some trouble initially getting in the door of the VRBO but the host was very quick to respond and we sorted things out quickly. Everything else with the stay was fine and things were very clean. One thing to note is the bathroom is very tiny and located in the loft area (which is noted in the rental information). The door does not really shut all the way but not a big deal to us really. I would say this place is definitely better for a couple. Good restaurant right across the street and lots of other stuff very close by. A great location. One thing we did not realize until after the fact is that Monday was garbage day apparently and we were supposed to take out the trash to the can outside and then take the cans to the curb and then collect them after the garbage came. Not a big deal but I guess if I am paying a cleaning fee I don't really want to have to be responsible for taking trash to the curb and then making sure the cans etc. get back in. I totally get disposing of trash outside but not a big fan of additional chores that need to be completed when I am doing a short-term rental. Keep in mind had I read the manual I would have done it, just not sure with a cleaning fee being paid that should be put on the daily renters list of things to do. We were pretty overwhelmed with a full plate of work during our stay so didn't even read the manual with this request in time.
Cozy little place. Nice kitchen with Keurig coffee pods and creamer. Good location, just a short walk to downtown Duneden. The bed is in the loft which is open to the living room. The bed in the loft was comfortable, but it’s right up against the railing overlooking the living room. The heat was in the downstairs window air conditioner and they had 2 space heaters, and they were plenty to heat the place. The one bathroom is very small. The reason I rated this 4 stars, is that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. I was able to use it, but only barely. Other than thst, it was a nice little place for my wife and I to stay for a weekend.
