Winchester is home to this holiday home. Cowan Railroad Museum and Tennessee Williams Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Hammers and Twin Creeks Marina. Hank Weddington Park and Tim's Ford Marina are also worth visiting.
Dirtiest house ever! Literally cockroaches and bugs everywhere! Mouse poop in the silverware drawer, fridge even disgusting, wasps all inside the house as well, my kid almost got stung. Property maintenance not kept up. Luckily we saw it and contacted them immediately and left the property for a hotel and was refunded. Communication with host was great and she was helpful and easy to work with during this. Check in was also easy but this house was disgusting. Do not stay here.

House needs maintenance
I would best describe our stay here as climate controlled glamping. The plumbing, HVAC, and power all worked well, but between the roof/window leaks, the dirty floors, mouse droppings in the cupboards, and wildlife living in the walls we easily could have thought we were living outdoors. The house met our needs in providing us a convenient location for the event we attended, but it simply has not had much maintenance or cleaning in some time.
From the mouse poop all over the kitchen to the broken windows this was by far our worst rental home ever. The pictures on this site are not accurate. Owner didn’t respond to the issues of rodents alive and running around the upstairs, ceiling leaking in the rain, bodily fluids on living room furniture, or the lack of bedding for 2 of the beds. We had to go buy cleaning supplies and scrub everything in addition to having to send our kids to a hotel because it wasn’t safe in the upstairs due to the live critters. We did contact VRBO and they said they would contact the host, but no attempts were made to correct anything. Such a disappointment.
We arrived at the property Thursday. Check in was smooth and easy. We had made arrangements to check-in early which the host was very accommodating for but some things come up. And we didn't get there till after 4pm anyway. Host was very responsive to my messages before booking with her and after booking, also, after we arrived at our stay. She even allowed me to bring my two small pups who are crate trained. There was one drawer that we did see that had a few mouse t**** in the kitchen and some of the dishes had a greasy film on them, but we had no problem washing them ourself and also, the two back eyes on the stove do not work but the two front eyes did, and I was able to use those to fix breakfast, was no problem. We did not hear any critters running around and no windows leaked while we were there, as we did have a little bit of rain. All in all, it was a good stay and we would stay there again. We had planned to ride at Circle E but we changed up a bit and went to Coalmont OHV. It was a bit of a drive for Coalmont but would be perfect for Circle E. We had plenty of room to park our vehicles and trailers as well.
