Less than 2 miles from PJs Gourmet Market (full service grocery) and True Value Hardware for all your needs without going to town!

Hermosa Get Away

Great location for all our activities. OwnerHost was very communicative and interactive. Great areas to walk and relax while watching the wildlife! The Hermosa Grill just down the road has one of the best breakfasts in the Durango area! Highly recommend both the house and the local grill!

Place was clean and comfortable. Great setting. Overall good experience. Could not get electric stovetop to work. Upstairs layout was awkward, with one bedroom only accessible through another. Getting temperature right was difficult. Cold downstairs, hot upstairs.

Family get away

This was a great place , The family and I felt so comfortable. The house was very cozy, warm, great views and private. This is a great for a big family cause there is so much room and you can have a great time not having to worry about making noise for the neighbors. Over all I would recommend this place to family and friends. Owner communicates very well.

Quiet neighborhood

This property is set against the national forest, and is great for watching wildlife. The location is great as a base for vacationing around southwestern Colorado. House furnishings are wonderful, the hot tub and ping pong table are great additions for the kids.

Hermosa Hideaway

Great experience all around. Secluded property with quick access to Purgatory and Durango. Cafe is within walking distance, but take the car. The portions are massive. You’re welcome.

Beautiful stay

We hosted a gathering for my graduation party and this was the best property to rent for it. Joe was amazing at communication and making this the best stay possible. Perfect space for my family both inside the house and outside on the property. Hot tub was great and an adorable little pond outside. Great for both kids and adults. Kitchen was perfect to cook for a gathering. Beautiful views and easy access to durango. Overall such a good experience and nothing else like it on all the rental sites. Thank you joe!!

### 5-Star Retreat: Secluded Haven Near DurangoWe just returned from a magical week at this stunning rental on 5 acres outside Durango, Colorado. The privacy is unmatched—rolling meadows, and tall pines. The pond out back was our daily escape, perfect for quiet mornings or spotting wildlife like deer.The house is cozy and inviting, with huge windows showcasing epic San Juan Mountain views. The kitchen has everything for easy meals, and the bedrooms are comfortable havens, especially the master with huge windows overlooking the property and pond.The Jacuzzi stole the show—after exploring nearby trails or Mesa Verde, we'd unwind in its bubbling warmth under starry skies. It's ideally placed for total seclusion.The host had very good communication, making everything seamless from booking to checkout.This spot is a true reset; time slows down here. We're already planning our next visit for fall foliage. 10/10—book it!
