About this property
View of the Mountains at Paradise Lost w a Massive Deck near Wineries & Helen Ga
Formerly known as Paradise Lost Llama Farm, this property sits atop one of the highest points in Paradise Valley. The living room and wrap-around porch offer a picturesque view of Mt. Yonah and the surrounding mountains. Just minutes from several renowned North Georgia wineries, guests will soak up the full experience of the region. With over 900sq ft of deck and a sunken garden, you’ll find numerous spots to relax and unwind, inside or out.
The space
On the main floor, you’ll find a great room with wood-burning fireplace, a darkened TV room, kitchen, dining room and the master bedroom suite, complete with two-sided gas fireplace adjoining the bedroom and the master bath. With two spacious bedrooms and a large bath upstairs, the home provides three king size beds and ample space for up to six guests.
From the main deck and living room, you’ll enjoy 180° views of the front pasture framed by hardwoods and Mt. Yonah as a magnificent backdrop. Within the sunken garden, you’ll find a firepit, two swings and one of two koi ponds on the property. The mountain vistas aren’t the only unique visual experience. On a clear night you’ll have an incredible view of the heavens, unobscured by any manmade lights. In the spring and summer, guests will enjoy fresh cherries, blueberries and dozens of fragrant flowering plants. You’ll be immersed in the full country experience.
The house has high-speed fiber optic wi-fi, a 65” HD Smart TV, the freshest mountain well water, Keurig coffee makers and hardwood floors throughout. If you’re looking for a mountain getaway on the North Georgia Wine Trail with exquisite views and a short drive to Helen, look no further.
While the llamas are gone, many of the outbuildings and equipment remain. We kindly ask our guests to refrain from entering the barns and outbuildings. Otherwise, guests are free to use all the rooms in the house.
