Absolutely excellent stay! The hosts were very informative, flexible, and easy to work with. The house was extremely clean and met all of our needs. We cooked every meal and had all the kitchen utensils to do so. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Thank you for providing us with an amazing stay! We will be back for the Oak Barrel Half Marathon and will definitely book again in the future!

Home is perfect for families or couples

This home is beautiful, well-appointed, about 12 miles from Lynchburg. We had three couples staying and it was perfect with one bedroom/bathroom on each floor. The outdoor deck with fireplace was wonderful for fall evenings. Highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

This was a superb house to spend my off time in the area. Very clean and had all the things someone needs if not in an extended stay hotel(where i usually stay) . The host notified me before arriving & i was able to check in early! I also had to contact them a few times about some stuff & they got right back to me via text promptly. If i ever want to bring my family to a lake spot, this house would be my first choice. Overall a very cozy house. I would recommend it for anyone.

The house and neighborhood are amazing! The moment you walk in the door, you instantly feel a sense of peace and being at home. Every little detail - from the welcome baskets to the ease of check-in - it truly is a top notch vacation experience. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil and item needed to cook a family Thanksgiving meal without having to stress or worry about a thing. We will definitely be back!

My wife and two small boys (4 &6) came into town to visit family for new years and found this place to be so great. The street had other kids playing on it so my boys had a blast just playing out front. We came during off season so could not enjoy the lake but when we come back in the summer we will stay here!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My friends and I booked this place for a little weekend getaway and we couldn’t be more satisfied with how it went. The house was very clean and in a perfect location for what we had planned over the weekend. The hosts were very accommodating and super easy to communicate with! We came here for the Jack Daniels World Championship BBQ Championship. We split our stay between this beautiful home and our cook trailer at Wiseman Park. We could not asked for a clearner more relaxing home.

Hot tub was dirty and downstairs bed had red stains on the comforter. I failed to take pictures of everything when I checked in so I got an extra charge for the stains and hot tub. Which the hot tub is supposed to be drained after every guest but they are not doing that.

The information posted above is inaccurate. Looking at the other reviews of our house show it to be a solid 10/10. The house is immaculate and hot tub crystal clean. The 10 guests in the hot tub caused the water to be low and very dirty. And the multiple beds with blood stains demanded the extensive clean and extra charge.
