Just right for a sister trip to our happy place! Small but well appointed, and the new deck and marsh views were spectacular. Perfect location! Maine never disappoints.

There was nothing serene about my stay. There was construction and renovations starting at 820am each morning. This should have been disclosed in the listing or a warning.

The outside staircase is a bit sketchy-looking, but don’t let it fool you. The apartment is lovely, seems recently renovated and is very well-equipped for cooking. Beautiful Pine Point Beach is an easy two-block walk and there are a couple good restaurants within easy driving distance even off-season.

The place was clean. We had trouble getting in but our host was quick & helpful at responding to our issue. The kitchen was complete with what is needed ie spices, cookware, dishes, coffee maker etc. We brought our dog but he was extremely anxious and out of his element . The AC was very noisy and the bed felt uncomfortable to me cause I don't like memory foam to sleep on. I had a few issues with the safety aspect of the place due to a spouse with balance issues ie uneven floors, main stairway railing rough to hold on to and a mirror propped on to a hassock, The location was excellent for beach access, places to eat and entertainment. We did enjoy sitting on the new stairway deck with beautiful views of the marsh and a table with chairs to sit on and relax in the shade. We used it for a day camp only.

The apartment was spotless when we arrived. There are 3 other rentals in the building but we rarely heard anyone else and it was great to be able to have our dog with us. We love that it’s only a block in from the ocean and that it’s on the edge of the salt marsh. There are a couple of great restaurants within walking distance, less than half a mile away. If you love bird-watching, this is the perfect place. Bring binoculars so you can get close-up looks of egrets, herons and all the other marsh birds. You can stand in the kitchen and see them! The new deck wasn’t quite finished during our stay but it will be fantastic when it is. One very minor improvement that could be made is to have a small nightstand on the right side of the bed, just something to rest your phone or glasses on and a place to charge your phone on that side of the bed. Otherwise, perfect!

Thanks Debbie, you're the best! Binoculars are being ordered as we speak that was a great idea. We look forward to having you back in the future, the new deck is stunning, especially for sunsets on the marsh!

This was my second time staying at Serene Pine Point Escape. It's within walking distance to the beach in a safe and quiet area of Maine. The marsh view is absolutely stunning And being able to bring the family dog is a major plus. The back yard marsh side is perfect for being outside with a dog and or bird watching...The bedroom is comfortable and clean. We slept well and felt safe and cozy. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for cooking and cleaning. And bathroom was clean and cozy for relaxing. There are a fair amount of steps to get to the second level so that is the only thing to mention for older people or families or anyone with mobility problems. Thank you! From 72 & 42 family dog/s

It was very comfortable and neighbors were friendly and quiet!I appreciated the extras in the cabinets:kitchen supplies and coffee and tea until I was able to get to the storeThe ride over was snowy and slow so it was nice not to run out for those items! The only suggestion I would make is the comforter had a bit of a smell and maybe could use a wash? I took it off the bed and used the amazing blanket!
