Everything about this place is fantastic, from the property itself to the hosts. They are nice, welcoming and very responsive. This is our third stay and we plan on going back again next summer.
This place is conveniently located and comfortable. The host is clearly very diligent and has thought of everything you might need. They were easy to deal with and we would definitely stay here again

Loved our stay in this cute little cottage. The rocks up behind the home are absolutely stunning and fun for pups to hike up on. If you're bringing a pet, just a heads up that there is a pet fee. I didn't realize that because I booked through Expedia.
This place was beautiful, clean, comfortable and accommodating, we absolutely loved it!
The owners were so amazing!
We have stayed in several Vrbo locations and this ties for our favorite along with a place in Gettysburg.

Great location and apartment. Very comfortable and accommodating. Thanks for the hospitality.
We had sufficient information before we arrived, it was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The unit is beautifully decorated and has everything anyone could want or need for their stay. We will definitely stay there again if in the area and highly recommend it!
We took our first family vacation and stayed for 5 days. The place was in a wonderful location with a lot of things to do without traveling too far. The property was clean and included everything you could possibly need. The hosts were accommodating and friendly. Overall wonderful stay!
This location is perfectly situated for all south coastal Maine needs. It’s a perfect house for a couple and maybe a kid or two (we brought our dog). The owners are great and the space is ideal.
Super clean, well stocked with all essentials, plenty of pillows and towels, hosts who were welcoming and appreciative of our presence. Location is convenient to beach, shopping and hiking. Price is very fair for the space and privacy we enjoyed. Check in and check out were seamless.
First time Vrbo user very happy with our choice. Tom was a host very helpful and accommodating. If were in the area again this would be the first choice.
Everything was perfect. Hosts were super-responsive and gracious. Location was a short drive from Hills Beach and downtown Biddeford. The place was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Our family of three and two dogs felt very much at home and didn’t lack for anything. We absolutely loved our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Echo Dixon
My husband is from New York, and I grew up in northern Maine. We moved to Biddeford out of love for the area. It is a hidden gem central to everything southern Maine has to offer. We have two beloved dogs, Gizmo and Chase, who are opinionated and loyal. We have three cats, Noodles, Dumbledore, and Gandalf, who continue to let us live here. Noodles is the only girl and the queen of the house. The vet says she is disabled, but she 100% disagrees. I am a therapist, and my husband is the director of day programming at a local social service agency. We love hosting people and bought this house and adjoining apartment to achieve our dream. Welcome!
Why they chose this property
The property is a 1900 farmhouse that was completely renovated. We live in the old farmhouse, and the apartment is attached. It has two separate entrances providing privacy. The first floor is composed of a family room and kitchen. The family room has a propane stove, a twin daybed, and a couch that pulls into a queen bed. There is a dining table for four and a dedicated workstation. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to make meals. In the kitchen is a doorway to the beautiful, secluded backyard with a firepit. Upstairs is an oversized bedroom with a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet, and a reading area. The bedroom is attached to a large bathroom with a shower, washer, and dryer.
What makes this property unique
The unit is quiet and sunny. It is only 9 minutes from several breweries and restaurants. In the other direction, it is 9 minutes from some of Maine's most beautiful beaches. It is only 6 minutes from the University of Southern Maine. It is a quick 30-minute drive to Portland and next door to Old Orchard and Kennebunk. There is central heating, air conditioning, and 1.25 acres of land to explore.
