Haldimand County is home to this cottage. Dunnville Community Theatre and Roselawn Centre for the Arts are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Wainfleet Bog Conservation Area and Port Colborne Historical and Marine Museum.
The property was just as described yet there’s a feeling of cozy warmth that almost embraces you as soon as you walk into Moe’s place.
We spent a few nights ringing in the New Year with family and it was THE perfect spot to do just that. The view was amazing, the cottage was spotless and well stocked, the hot tub and game room kept the kids occupied and beyond content.
We can’t thank you enough Moe for opening your home to us:) Happy New Year!!!

The cottage was tidy. A little painting would go a long way. Get the outside powered washed. The water comes from a lake. Needs to up grade. A full reverse osmosis. Filter system on intake valve.
With this things done it would be beautiful.

Nice little house with small problems
We booked this house for the nice little beach and hot tub on the property. Unfortunately the hot tub did not work and we weren’t aware until after we checked in. There is also quite a large gnat/bug problem with them getting inside the house. We had to buy Raid and fly traps to combat the problem. Other than that we had no problems with the house. It was a nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We enjoyed our week long stay! Would definitely rent this house again!

Hi Cameron, sorry that there was an issue with bugs. When I left after housekeeping, I found no issues with bugs, probably there was a door or window open during night. It’s normal to have a lot of bugs in this season. Sorry again about the misunderstanding about the hot tub, I didn’t have hot tub in amenities, I should have clarified that the hot tub was in maintenance.thank you again see you soon
This home had a lovely outdoor space with a dining area and comfortable seating area with a view of Lake Erie. The hot tub was a nice addition, however it was not clean and had a slimy film on it. On our second evening, were had 2 couples and their children over for a bbq btw 7:30 and 9:45pm. Before our guests left at 9:45pm, we had a call from VRBO saying that the host was upset that we had more people staying over than we were allowed and that we needed to clear this up with the host. The host had seen our guests through his cameras. We were able to clear up the misunderstanding with the host by letting him know that there was never an intention for our dinner guests to stay overnight. The incident eventually was cleared up after over 1 hr on the telephone with VRBO and several emails to the host. Unfortunately, this incident and false accusations ruined our stay at this lovely property.

You said that you were bringing a couple of people. My neighbor called me complaining that you threw a party and were creating noise. I checked the backyard camera and saw party with over 12 people. The hot tub was overloaded with too many people. You broke the house rules, but also complained too with the hot tub being dirty (had a grease film). The hot tub recently had fresh water added and was definitely cleaned before the visit. The grease film was caused by the overcrowded people in the hot tub wearing lotion. Additionally, you broke the hot tub rules by having kids under the age of 18 in it. The septic tank was overfilled, we had to drain the septic tank even though it was drained very recently. I should have charged extra for the cleaning and extra service. You broke the rules, caused a huge mess and disrupted my neighbors; hope I don’t take in people like you again.
We just had a wonderful trip to this property for one week. There are so many amazing things about this place. It is literally right on the water, so you can walk right into the lake (just don't forget water shoes). But when you don't want to be in the lake, there are several little places you can relax. There is a firepit with adirondack chairs right near the water. But the patio is where there are soooo many options. A 6 person table for family dinners on the patio. A COVERED sitting area with two comfy couches and a wonderful firetable that gives off a nice large flame (adjustable). Not to mention a brand new HUGE hot tub!!! The inside is really nice, and it has AIR CONDITIONING. A separate room with an air hockey table / play room, with a sliding glass door to keep the main living area a little quieter so everyone is having an enjoyable time. The kitchen and bedrooms are perfect, and a really nice bathroom with laundry. But the gem of this place is the OWNER. He was always available if we needed anything. And he was willing to accomodate us so that we could have an amazing time. I highly recommend this property, and we hope to rent again for a week next summer again.
