The Exchange was built in 1900 as the commodities exchange for ship and rail transport coming along the Mississippi River. Keep an eye out throughout the building for subtle mentions to the past and the stories this unique building holds.

This one bedroom comfortably sleeps 2 people on a king size bed. Spacious open living area offers original flooring, high ceilings, large windows with lots of natural light, and tons of character. I had a wonderful stay for my nieces graduation from Winona State. Absolutely loved how clean and beautiful this apartment is! I didn't hear neighbors and the neighborhood was quiet, even though it's close to downtown. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in Winona!

A Needed Break

Our stay was perfect. Our location was perfect for walking to many great activities!! Close to the college which is great if you have a student there! Would stay again!! Communication was great too!

Newly renovated in a great central location

We loved our stay! This apartment was perfect for the two of us. It was super clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a washer and dryer. It was fun to be within walking distance of coffee shops, brew pubs and pizza. We also loved running to the lake and experiencing the beauty of Winona from the bike path. Cozy and clean for the win!

The tiny art gallery…

Exchange 21 was a very pleasant accommodation for us. Very clean, exceptional light, extremely quiet. The property manager was very responsive and the location is in the center of Winona. p.s. look for the tiny art gallery on the first floor. Thoughtful and inspirational.
