You’re visiting a mountain property where some roads may be gravel, uneven, or steep. AWD or 4WD is recommended, especially in snow or ice. Most front-wheel drive vehicles can access the property if driven slowly and carefully. Low-clearance vehicles like sports cars or motorcycles are not advised.
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
Heads up 7/15: Please be aware that the kitchen countertop has a visible crack and is currently in the process of being repaired. As a result, prep space is a bit limited at the moment. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete the repair as quickly as possible.

About the host
Hosted by Blue Maple

I live in DC with my wife and three young kids. I love camping/hiking, drinking (and sometimes brewing) great beer and wine, exploring new restaurants and shops, and traveling all over.
What makes this property unique
We spent years searching for the perfect getaway, and wanted to be close enough to DC that we could do a day trip. We fell in love with the area – and Hot Tub Hideaway cabin in particular. We love how cute and cozy our cabin is, and all the fun outdoor activities we can enjoy year-round. :)
