Huge 1,600 Sq Ft Condo -- One of the Largest in Copper!
PEREGRINE UNIT #302 - ONE OF THE LARGEST CONDOS AT COPPER MOUNTAIN!
With the ski lift only a 2-minute walk away, this huge, two-floor, 1,600 square foot slope-side unit is a great place for very large groups or multiple families vacationing together. Three full bedrooms, three full baths, plus a gigantic enclosed loft (with 4 adult-size bunkbeds) provide plenty of room for everyone, while the vaulted ceilings on both floors create a chalet-like feel throughout. Importantly, the flexible multi-floor layout of our home enables two groups/families to each create its own private “hangout” area. Outside, the free bus stops just across the street, ready to take you anywhere in the resort from early morning until late night. Also across the street is the Copper Station day lodge where you can rent/buy skiing/riding equipment and purchase lift tickets and lessons. The Tubing Hill is located just outside the lodge and is a blast for all ages. Finally, don’t miss the great après ski festivities at JJ's Tavern in the lodge. There's great food, craft beer, music, and a happy hour sing along that nobody can resist! On sunny days, sit outside with your favorite beverage to watch the skiers and riders rip down Rosie's Run, and then stroll ‘home’ in under two minutes for a relaxing evening in the sauna and hot tub.

THE VERBAL TOUR:
The Peregrine Building is located in Copper Mountain Resort’s East Village. Our condo, #302, is a corner unit on the third (top) floor with no neighbors above nor on three sides. The unit faces west, and features three bedrooms, three full baths, and a fully-enclosed loft all on two floors. It’s almost 1,600 square feet and will comfortably accommodate ten to twelve adults. First Floor: Outside, at the entry door to our unit, is our own private ski storage locker for ten to twelve pairs of skis. Inside, you enter to a hallway to the large living space and vaulted ceiling that drifts up to the second floor. On the right is a fully-renovated kitchen, well-equipped for large groups, featuring a breakfast bar with four barstools. The adjoining dining room is furnished with a large, family-size table with plenty of room and chairs for eight. To the left is the living room featuring a beautiful stone wall with a gas log fireplace, and furnished with two luxurious leather sofas (one a queen-size sleeper), a cozy reading chair and ottoman, a large coffee table, a CD player and radio, and a cable-equipped TV with a Blu-ray player. Lastly, the sunny balcony faces West overlooking a stream and the eighth tee of Copper Creek golf course. The large first-floor master bedroom has a king-size bed, a generous closet, and a private full bath. The second first-floor bedroom features two long-size twin beds, also has a generous closet, and a large full bath just outside the door. Second Floor: A wide open staircase leads to the upper level with a gigantic, fully-enclosed loft and a second master bedroom with private bath (the third bedroom overall). The spacious loft is separated from the lower living area by glass panels and a door at the top of the stairs. This enables the loft to function as a soundproof second living area for parties who wish to separate the young ones, or for two families vacationing together who want to be able to hang out, but maintain a comfortable level of privacy. The loft is nicely furnished with living room furniture and two sets of adult-size bunk beds (4 sleeping spaces), and is flooded with morning light from a 12-foot high vertical window. Books and games for all ages, as well as a second cable-equipped TV and Blu-ray player complete the space. The second master bedroom adjoins the loft, and is identical to the master bedroom on the first floor with king size bed, a generous closet, and a private full bath.
We hope to see you soon!

The place was great, we had some issues with the hot tub, including that whoever closed up locked our kids into the hot tub area, and they couldn't get out when it closed at 10pm. They had to climb the fence and trek through the snow, not ideal. The next day the hot tub closed at 5. Parking was also an issue as we could not figure out where to obtain the free parking passes for additional cars, and ended up paying for the lot. Otherwise, the space was great, kitchen was better than most for ski rentals!
Very convenient to the slopes and had everything we needed.

The condo really needs a deep cleaning. Bath mats were not fresh and a bedsheet nailed to a window ledge is not a curtain. Lamps, etc were not plugged in when we arrived and most outlets were loose in the wall.
We had a great stay in Copper this week! Mary responded quickly to my questions before we left, and we didn’t have any issues once we arrived. Check-in was super easy. We were able to park two cars at the building. The photos of the condo represented it well-everything was as expected-except for that it was bigger than we thought it would be. Our family of nine (eight adults and one baby) had plenty of room! The spacious kitchen was fully stocked and easy to prepare dinners in. We loved the big dining room table for meals and games. We used the hot tub every day. The best part of the condo was the ski closet, just outside of the unit (easily fit our six pairs of skis and two snowboards), and the proximity to the Super Bee lift (just a few minute walk). We wish there had been more snow-but we still had a super time!
We were very pleased with our stay! The property was easy to find and navigate, close to the slopes, with all necessary items for our visit. Mary was extremely responsive and accomodating, would certainly choose to stay here again!
This place checked all the boxes for us--loads of beds, lots of space to spread out, private outdoor hot tub, and a VERY short walk to the Super Bee lift and JJ's restaurant (try the drumsticks, you won't be disappointed). Super pleased with the place, if we decide to go ikon again next year, we'll definitely consider this place again!
We had a wonderful time at this condo. The location was a close walk to Super Bee. The condo was spacious for our family. Owner was responsive and great to work with. We would recommend staying here!
We had a great stay at Mary’s place and would highly recommend it for others who like to ski, like we do and have easy access to the mountain. We traveled with our adult children and this spot offered all the amenities we wanted. Mary was very responsive! Thanks
The property is spacious and is very close to the Super Bee lift. The owner is a fantastic communicator. We had no problems in our 12-day stay and appreciated the many pots and pans in the kitchen, large dining table that sits 8 people, and comfortable beds. Great place!
Nice, clean property. Plenty of space - we had 3 20-somethjbg men, toddler, 2 40s-50s adults. Easy to access, nice view from the living area, easy access to all of Copper (via quick bus ride just outside the condo parking lot) plus 2 min walk to Super Bee lift. Place was just as described. Thanks for a lovely stay and nice vacation.
We stayed in Jan 2023 for 5 nights. The location is less than a 2 minute walk to the Superbee Express lift at Copper East Village base area. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the outdoor ski closet was great. The only downside was that the hot tub broke our first night and was unavailable, but fortunately the sauna worked (it's only big enough for 2-3 people though).

Our Stay
Great location, close to the lift. However, I would say the unit sleeps 10, not 12. The pullout couch was so uncomfortable we ended up buying an air mattress instead! The leather couches are also peeling pretty bad.

House is in need of updating. The couches are in horrible condition as are several of the mattresses. Dining table is in bad condition with no table cloths provided. Carpet was dirty.

Good condo for large group
Pros: Comfortable and plenty of room. Close to the action. We used the hot tub and ski locker next to condo was very convenient.
Cons: There was some confusion about parking. The only parking allowed is two vehicles in an outside lot right by the building but only if spots are available.
The loft area had two sets of bunk beds (4 single beds total), but we thought the description indicated 4 full bunk beds, so that was a little disappointing.
No towels for the hot tub - we had to use our single bath towel allotted to each person for the hot tub.
The kitchen was well stocked except no aluminum foil - that would have come in handy.
Overall a nice place to stay and we’d stay again.
Our goal was convenience with a 5 month old grandchild. We got exactly as advertised, a reasonable price for a very good location. The condo was average, but it matched the price point.
The 4 rating came from issues beyond the owners control. Boiler maintenance was needed for the whole building, so one morning without hot water. Related to that, a sporadic bang noise in the upstairs master each time the heat turned on. Sounded like metal expansion, but annoying when it happened during sleeping hours. Owners were very responsive and apologetic.
No trash bags on property, but that’s a cheap item on the grocery list. Lots of good coffee and sugar on property, so two expensive items off the grocery list. A fair trade.
The check in was a bit confusing as the map took us to a parking lot not by the condo. Follow the written directions in Vrbo listing not gps. The condo had a great layout for our family. The second living area / enclosed loft upstairs worked well for a baby area and with 2 bunkbeds, would be a great kid area. The kitchen had some spices and left over pantry staples which were helpful. The Stockpots need replaced due to wear and tear on the nonstick surfaces. There were plenty of extra bed and bath linens. The couches need replaced asap. They are not only peeling but are quite broken down and not very comfortable. The beds however, were comfortable. The location was nice and a short walk to Superbee. The owner was responsive to questions. The hot tub was out of order so that was a disappointment. We purchased and left 2-3 new humidifiers, some kitchen towels and wash clothes, and some chip clips. The condo had plenty of cleaning products and supplies as well as bath supplies. Not a “need” but the guys in our group recommend a larger TV in the living room. Overall, a good trip. We would stay here again. Thanks!
I've stayed in this condo before approximately 10 years ago. For the most part it is adequate but it badly needs updating. The lighting is very unsatisfactory at night. There are no fans to speak of upstairs so it is very stuffy and hot even with windows open. For the price this condo should really be updated as it looks very tired and beat up. The bunks are very tight and for an adult not comfortable at all. Maybe a Murphy bed would be a better fit for the large upstairs room.
The owner was very accommodating and let us check in early which was greatly appreciated. We all still had a great time being together.

Hi Kimberly,
I'm glad you had a great time being together. I just want to point out that 7 of our last 8 reviews have been 5-Star and the 8th was 4-Star. The condo is priced to provide excellent value, and all our other guest seem to feel that it did. Also, the bunks are the exact same size as they were when you first rented, so it seems unfair for you to complain about something that you knew going into your rental. Also, most folks seem to find the lighting to be fine during winter, so I'm surprised that with the long summer days lighting was an issue. Thank you for the feedback, and you are very welcome for the early check-in. We always try our best to accommodate all of our guests.
