Good for the price

We like this style of condo for our family due to the location, privacy, and green space. This unit was more dated than others we stayed in previously, but we liked the bunk beds and multiple televisions. Not enough seating space in the living room for our family of 4. Will definitely rent from VACASA again in the future- they made everything easy.

Charming & comfortable

This was perfect for our family of four for a weekday beach getaway. We loved the set-up of this unit. It was clean, cozy, and had charm. It was close to the outdoor activity center which my kids enjoyed. This year we used the pools located at the beach front properties for ease of going back and forth between the beach and pool during the day, since the nearest outdoor pool was a bit of a walk but no big deal! Everything we needed was there: laundry, kitchenware, good Wi-Fi, blankets, linens, etc. It's not super modern decor if that's what you're looking for but it's full of charm & the furniture was comfortable. Everyone agreed that they loved the space & would want to come back to it again.

Great location but needs some TLC

We had high hopes for this stay. We stayed at the place for a few nights in June. We love the convenience of staying at Sea Colony. There’s so many things to do (swim, tennis, pickleball, et.). It’s a great community! The tram/bus is also great so you don’t have to worry about parking at the beach. The place itself was quite disappointing. I am shocked it is even being rented out by Vacasa. There was lots of mold in the bathroom, on the ceiling, behind the toilet. I understand with the beach there will be moisture problems but it was BAD. It’s a health hazard. The place itself was also unclean. Layers of dust on the fans, moldy shower curtain, dirty bathroom mats, unknown brown smear on the door and wall, and lots of spiderwebs among other issues. We also found a pill case with pills in it as well as a pill on the floor in the bedroom next to the nightstand. In addition we found EKG medical sticker tabs stuck on the vanity in the bedroom. I guess a previous guest must’ve visited the doctor and stuck them there… We voiced our concerns to Vacasa and they said they’d send someone out to clean again. While someone did come out, the things we were most concerned about were left untouched. The pills still were there as well as the EKG stickers. If a family were to stay here and a little kid found and took the pills that be so dangerous. We ended up sticking the pill case in a cabinet just in case the cleaning crew didn’t dispose of them after our stay so that a kid couldn’t find them. We also ended up cleaning up a spider webs and the weird brown stain on the wall and door because we couldn’t stand looking at them anymore. What’s really upsetting about all of this is that I see a previous guest voiced concerns about this place already a year ago and Vacasa replied saying they’d pass along the info to the local staff to make improvements and clearly nothing was fixed. I hope they make some improvements to the place because it has so much potential. We definitely won’t be staying at this place again, but will be back next year to stay at another in Sea Colony. I do not recommend anyone stay here until the owner/Vacasa fixes these issues.
