We had a great stay here. The location was very convenient and made it easy to get around the area. The place itself was clean and very spacious, which made it comfortable to relax during the stay. Communication with the owners was excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made everything smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.
This was the perfect place for our family of 4. It’s beautifully decorated, great kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. Also a very convenient location close to everything! Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. Highly recommend!
What a perfect location and cozy home for our family to stay while we were in town for our niece’s baby shower! There was plenty of room for all of us and it was so much better than having to stay in a hotel.
Great location, property is well-maintained and clean. Hosts were very responsive. The stairs are steep, so can be challenging for some dogs and people to navigate. Neighborhood was nice for walking the dog and very close to restaurants and shopping.
Stayed here with friends during our trip to Portland and the stay was lovely. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Host had effective communication and a cute traveler's guide. Would recommend this stay!
Best accommodations ever said our son and wife (our first time vrbo and it was wonderful). Very comfy beds stellar appliances and bathrooms! Lots of natural light. Easy walking to old port and breweries and ferry to peaks island. Family friendly.
We loved the accommodations and the location. We walked to the Portland Art Museum, and down to the Old Port Waterfront, where we enjoyed wonderful dining opportunities. We loved walking the neighborhood in the morning and seeIng the unique architecture.
The property was just as promised – – a very clean set-up and easy walk to where we need to go in downtown Portland. It was plenty of room for a group of eight and it actually worked out well with the two stories.
Everything was very nice and clean. The host(s) were responsive, friendly, and patient with my questions. Only thing I would suggest is to have a rubber mat by front door (inside) for boots etc as it was snowy. The heat was a bit wonky on first floor the first night but started to be warmer the 2nd night. The location was fabulous. We enjoyed our time and will be back!
Property as described and will seek out and be back!
Pleased to find the property was clean, communication was excellent, easy process to check in and out.
Great location, quiet area but close to the action and incredibly comfortable. Will be back!
We had a great stay at this beautifully updated property in Portland. The location was great! The Old Port area with all its great shops and restaurants was within easy walking distance. The house itself is modern yet cozy and has been renovated with care. The owners were VERY easy to communicate with and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was as expected. Highly recommend this property - 5 stars!
This was our second time staying at this property and it won’t be the last. It is clean, cozy and very comfortable. The luxurious throws and blankets placed throughout the rooms made it seem especially homey and warm. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and did a thoughtful renovation to the property with updated conveniences while maintaining historical features. The location is convenient and within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. We’ll be back!
This is one of those rare, beautiful properties that you never forget! It exceeds all expectations; it's even more beautiful than the pictures online can convey. Clean, spacious, and fresh, with new, well-maintained fixtures and appliances in a beautiful residential neighborhood that is a quick walk to the museum, downtown and Old Port neighborhoods. I'm slightly embarrassed for having bothered the hosts prior to our visit by repeatedly asking when we would get check-in information; it was helpful to learn to expect the details on the day of arrival. My family and I did not want to leave. An absolute gem, book it if you can!
