Relaxing and peaceful getaway

This is a great place to stay for being just the right distance from the party atmosphere of the city. Not a bad drive into the city, and this property is beautiful and comfortable. We were able to experience the best of both (city fun plus the peace of staying outside the city)

Peace and Quiet

We greatly enjoyed our time in Stacy's rental. There was a minor freezer issue that she attended to immediately. Overall, the house was comfortable and we felt very safe and at home.

Friends’ first trip to NOLA

We have a friend who loves to fish and she really enjoyed being able to fish right off the dock. The owner responds promptly. We had an issue with the downstairs, though. That’s where the fourth bedroom and third bathroom are. It was hot and stuffy when we arrived due to the window units not working, nor were half the lights. It was a blown fuse that the owner took care of the next day, but the main issue was the fact that neither patio door down there locked They were “secured” with wooden poles in the doors that still allowed the door to open at least several inches. The owner tried reassure us that they lived here for 10 years and it was a safe area. My husband was not happy and said that no one was sleeping down there. He said that a place can be safe until something happens and then it’s not. He said that for the amount we paid for three nights that it’s not that expensive to install new plates so that the doors will latch. Why risk the liability and chance that something could happen? Anyway, we had a good time on this trip, but we won’t be staying here again. You can’t put a price on feeling safe.
