All the essentials plus extras like plush bedding and a variety of movies to enjoy. The bathhouse was kept very clean and laundry is also available. They are a newer property, so they are still doing some fine tuning. The owner walked us around the property himself, but detailed descriptions and instructions/information in the cabins as a reference would be helpful.
After 40 years of corporate business experience and owning a brewery/tavern in Northern Colorado, Kristen and Casey are excited to come back to Casey’s home town of Helena, Montana. (HHS class of ’85!)
"We are so excited to meet our guests and make friends around the community fire pit." Kristen and Casey have had connections and businesses in Northern Colorado since 1995, spending countless weekends watching their 5 kids play soccer and basketball and finally seeing them off to college. Now empty nesters, they moved to Helena to be closer to the community they call family. They are excited to restore this local campground and house to its original glory and will take the next several seasons remodeling and building a new convenient store in the valley.
Why they chose this property
Steps from beautiful Lake Hauser, the cabins at Grey Sandy Campground offer luxury dry cabin accommodations whether you are fishing, boating, or enjoying downtown Helena.
