My family and I had a wonderful stay at this home on the lake. The dock made it so easy to park a boat, making getting on and off the lake so easy. Plenty of room in the home for our small family.
We had a great time at Bass Lake with my entire family of 15 (10 adults and 5 kids under 13). Spent a lot of time on the water. The house we rented was well suited for our group. We used the kitchen for all meals. I did not do the cooking but I understand all went well. I like the food. My only complaint would the be the use of the dock for boat rentals (not allowed in the contract) that was not disclosed in advance even after discussing the subject on the phone. The reason for not giving all 5's in my rating.
The fireplace in this cabin was not wood as promoted. It was a broken gas fireplace, making the upstairs bedrooms very cold. This place also has a major plumbing problem. When upstairs bathtub was turned on upstairs water leaked downstairs and soaked my parents stuff through the walls. Less than 5 minutes after turning on the upstairs faucet there is a puddle of water downstairs. Downstairs smelled musky. Outdoor had to be swept to clear leaves to use the patio. It was obvious that the property hadn’t been swept as there were layers of leaves that had to be raked off the patio.Property K and E were very rude and called me a terrorist for bringing this up to them.

Context readers may want to know: Juan didn't communicate any issues during his stay. Had he, we would have told him the fireplace is electric and needs to be plugged in. It isn't advertised as wood burning. We also would have sent someone immediately to look at the water issue he reported. What we would have found and shared with him is water is to stay INSIDE the bathtub as opposed to being sloshed all over the floor where it then proceeds to go downstairs as this is the ONLY case in which which this happens. We also would have reminded him that his stay was during the fall season when the leaves are dropping from the trees. The leaves can be blown completely off the grounds and the next day they are back. Being involved with the Fresno Unified School District, as he shared with us more than once during his post check out-two weeks after the fact tirade, we would think that skills such as reading and seasonal occurances such as leaves dropping would be basic knowledge as we learn these things in elementary school. And yes, when K&M staff is threatened our response is always that we do not negotiate with terrorists. In situations such as these we always recommend breathwork, mountain air, and meditation as it can be very calming.
We had a very nice week. Property management was helpful with the few needs/questions we had. Lots of parking- but not necessarily for trailer/boat on property. However, there are good solutions at the bottom of the hill (free) or at the marina for $25/night. I think most will say the front of the house (primary parking) is hard to find. You turn off Rd 432 and go up an unmarked/partially paved road then veer right up a modestly marked (wood tiny carved wood sign at ground level) windy, narrow, bumpy dirt-like road. Street is a dead end- I can’t think of a good reason to bring a trailer up there but all cars should do fine! Parking on a small incline for 5+ cars/SUVs right in front of the house. More parking below house. Lots of room on property and inside. 5br/4ba. 3/2 upstairs, 2/2 downstairs in separate dwelling. No inner staircase to connect. Worked fine for us. Dock/slip is across Rd 432 pretty much below the house. Very convenient. Was not drastically different than having a house w/dock on the water. However, lots of stairs to go from house to dock if you walk down. House is at west end of lake so confirm water levels if you intend to use the dock. Levels were good for our needs in Aug 2023, and we have a deep hull, double prop outboard. House has air conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher, close to slide rock. Trying to get water temp right for showers was tricky. Water pressure not awesome, otherwise nice older place!
