Alden Haus is a wonderful example of old Fredericksburg. The old and traditional German architecture, including wood floors and gas fireplaces are warm and inviting. The large private courtyard has a wide variety of native flowers. This home is the ideal place for the guests who wish to experience both history and convenience. Amenities of this home includes a full kitchen, sunroom, a gas fireplace in the living room and dining room. Each suite has a queen bed. There’s a large courtyard and garden, a covered porch, and an unbeatable location in the famed Golden Blocks of Fredericksburg's downtown historic district.

Inside the home are two bedrooms, connected by the large kitchen and sunroom, complete with a gas fireplace and large pane windows. The garden is home to many local varieties of plants, including a pergola with native cedar and a seating area. Antique house stay

Needed a book of instructions on operating fire place etc. No can opener, big pot to boil potatoes, potatoe peeler. A cat meowed outside bedroom much if the time. Not handicap accessible. Otherwise clean with linens and dishes.
