This property was clean, convenient, and comfortable for our family and pup. It’s well equipped with pots, pans, washer, dryer, toaster, coffee maker etc The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the large front yard with all the beautiful vegetation and flowers and the pool as well. The property is close to all of the attractions, but outside of the hustle and bustle. The host was responsive and kind. Thanks for a great stay!
Brought my wife, mother and dogs up to visit St. Augustine during Christmas. The house was very clean, the property was amazing and the location was perfect. Just a few minutes from all the main attractions and very close to numerous food options. We would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed the location and proximity to all attractions. The early morning train passing through was awakening. Pool deck and yard are beautiful amenities.
This was a wonderful property. We had a last minute change in plans. We were coming down for my brothers wedding and our pet sitter scheduled could no longer keep them so we had to take them with us. Normally we do but this was a short trip and it was easier not to. Anyway the host was great and let us book at the last minute and bring our dogs with us. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool, but it was a really nice area and the landscaping for this property is beautiful. It’s a real hidden gem and very private.
We wanted somewhere we could relax and still be close to the historic downtown. The location was perfect and even though it’s in a neighborhood it’s very secluded. The property is very clean and welcoming. The owners had great communication and we really can’t wait to come back again!
This tiny house was perfect for our family of three! My teen daughter stayed in the loft and loved it although it does get pretty warm up there. We really enjoyed the pool time and how close we were to all the things we wanted to do in historic St. Augustine. I'd love to stay here when it's cooler out so we can enjoy the picnic/gazebo area and pond - it was too hot in June. So pretty! Another review mentioned Frisky Cat Cafe so we went; if you like cats, it is an awesome place to go pet and play with kitties and the fee goes to the rescue! Plus the macarons in the cafe are YUMMY! Thank you for letting us stay in your home. :)
Brought my daughter to Saint Augustine for college tour. I found this wonderful cottage tucked away in a residential area on Vrbo. Everything was as described and then some. So relaxing, so sweet and cute. There was plenty of room for the two of us and a wonderful yard for our puppy to enjoy. We asked for the pool heater to be turned on and had two relaxing afternoons poolside. I hope to be able to stay here in future trips to Saint Augustine along with being a wonderful stay. It was very convenient to the historic areas that we like to visit.
Overall the property is really cool and the pool was perfect. It says it sleeps 6 but I would say 5 max unless everyone is sharing a bed. We weren't too crazy about the area it was located in but it was very conveniently close to St. Augustine. My only heads up is that theres not a lot of hot water so space out your showers if you have multiple people. There is a cute stopping plaza right by there that has a Cat Cafe called Friskys i would recommend and a mochi donut shop.
A beautiful diamond in a growing neighborhood. Good people the owner stopped by. Great guy.
We were a little worried as we arrived at night. Once in the house we were pleasantly surprised. Felt like home. Great movies, nice furniture and everything you need. The pool was amazing. While we were there the owner and his men put in a lovely pond with water trickling down over rocks. Flowers everywhere. So peaceful even with work going on in the surrounding area . I found peace. Thanks Pete.
This property is everything you need for a perfect getaway! It’s private, super clean, well decorated, has a great yard, and is close to everything. All the activities we had planned were within 15 minutes, including traffic. The pool is literally the length of the house! The neighborhood seems to be renovating and building. Fun for just a couple or a family. The host stocked the house up with anything and everything you might need. If for some reason there isn’t something there, there is a Dollar General legit a minute away. We are gonna make this our St. Augustine spot for sure!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming property! The house was clean, cozy, and filled with beautiful natural light, making it feel bright and welcoming throughout the day. Although the home is on the smaller side, the smart layout made it feel spacious and very comfortable. The pool area was incredibly relaxing, and the large property gave us a great sense of privacy. We also loved that it was dog-friendly—it’s always a bonus to be able to bring our pups along. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even better. The location was another big plus—it’s a convenient drive to downtown St. Augustine, and we’d even recommend bringing bicycles if possible, since parking downtown can be tricky during peak times. One thing to note for future guests: One of the neighbors has a hound dog that stays outside and barks/howls almost constantly during the day (roughly 8am–10pm). The dog was often drawn to the fence when we were using the pool. This is obviously beyond the host's control and it didn’t impact our enjoyment, but it might be something to consider for travelers especially sensitive to noise. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing stay and would absolutely return!
This was the perfect getaway. It is so close to everything and about equal distances between Vilano Beach, Downtown St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach (about a 10-12 minute car ride). It is only a few miles from a Target, Walmart, Publix and lots of restaurants. Even with all of the conveniences it is nestled away like it is in the middle of nowhere. There are neighbors around but the way the property is set up it doesnt feel like it. The pool is amazing. My kids especially loved the colorful lights in the pool at night. We also brought our 2 dogs (boston terriers) and everyone had a great time. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and eat, including oil and spices. The communication with the property manager was amazing. They were quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend this property.
We was disappointed that the heater in the pool was not warmer. It water was very chilly. I even paid to heat it. The kids did swim in the pool for a few but it was definitely too cold for adults and small kids. The property owner did respond when I called him, however apparently in Florida when it is cooler temperatures, the heater does not heat it. “ it’s not a hot tub”. I have swam in many many pools with heaters and outside temperatures 50-65 degrees does not change that.
We thought it was a bunch of excuses. Just say it doesn’t work unless it’s hot outside ?!
The toilet got clogged but there was not a plunger. The host said we Must have flushed something down that that should’ve not been flushed, which is not true. “It has never been clogged before.” I made a few trips to get our own plunger, as there wasn’t one there. The washer had to be re-spun five times to get it to drain. There was a little bit of water in the seal that was pooled but eventually It went down on its own after I spinned it several times and worked from there on. He said there is never been an issue, but there was Draino under the sink.
It was a beautiful property but wouldn’t stay here again.
