Gathering Shore is a perfect getaway for the family! Located in a neighborhood which borders the gorgeous, park-like northern border of the Matanzas River, the home is convenient to dozens of restaurants and stores and just a short drive from historic St. Augustine and the beach! The large kitchen and living area provide plenty of space and seating for everyone! Enjoy a private heated saltwater pool, fire pit, and gas grill for the perfect family vacation.



***Note: The pool heater season is from November 1st - April 15th. Pool heat is available upon request. Pool heat must be requested 24-48 hours in advance. Please inquire for pool heat fees.



Depending on the weather conditions, the pool may not hit the set point of the heater. Please note, when night temperatures go below 50 degrees the heater cannot operate effectively. Please plan your vacation activities accordingly. No refunds are issued based on weather conditions. ***

Noise Ordinance: The city of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday. Violations can result in a $500 fee.

Spring Break Getaway

Overall it was a nice stay. The home was as advertised. The owners communicated often and with information that was pertinent. We arrived late on the first night. The outdoor lights as well as indoor light were on for us. That was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the amenities we as stated. There were plenty of towels as well as a couple fo pool/beach towels. The appliances were newer and all worked as expected. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you would need to prepare meals. The home was larger than expected with the kitchen/living room open concept was very nice. Furniture was comfortable as well. The grounds were a little rough but the property was fully fenced in. We did not use either of the grills or the fire pit but those were nice options to have access to. The pool, although dated and in need of some TLC was very nice and warm even with the cool temps. I got pretty good at skimming the pool as leaves kept blowing into to it. The location was decent for our purpose. The neighborhood was quiet but being near the highway, there was some road noise especially when outside by the pool. This property would be good for a family with the space, grounds and pool. I would rate this stay a 4.5 but cannot due half stars.

Our personal experience in this property was good. There are a few things that needed to be addressed in this property upon our check in we took pictures and videos of the issues in the house. To which the property manager said he will address them right away. I will list them here so that other guest can verify if they were fixed and addressed. Some shelving in the refrigerator were broken.The outlet in the master bedroom the one on the side of the window is lose so whatever you plug in won't stay.The wall plates in the living room were off the wall. The pool had a lot of dirt in it sand, leaves. Natural debris.The bedroom with the bunk beds the lighting was not working. The shower in the hallway bathroom wss clogged.My communication with the property manager was excellent very responsive didn't wait to receive a response back, which in my opinion is a plus!I feel like the additional fees to use the heater of the pool should be better explained on the description of the rental. So people won't feel the element of surprise when you're thinking you'll be able to use the heated pool. And YES you can enjoy the heated pool but at an extra price. The house was very well cleaned. Is very very spacious. And the location was pretty good. Everything is near you don't have to go far as everything you need is within reach. My family and i felt relaxed amd enjoyed our stay. I suggest you take advantage of your free coupons and plan accordingly for the rest of your guests.

4 star rating given because property not perfect. Home is older but was clean.Adequate number of bath towels and washcloths. Beach towels provided as well. Having a starter kit was nice. Kitchen well stocked,could use a couple dish cloths and Kitchen sink water pressure was low but management very receptive to concerns and responsive. Despite the rain, we were able to use and enjoy the pool. Again, pool decking and pool coping is older and could use some attention. Home is in a great location. It was also very nice to have tickets to some attractions. Enjoyed our stay.

My family and i stayed here for a quick vacation. The property is within 5 miles of every place we wanted to visit, grocery store and restaurants. Downtown St augustine can be dificult to find parking and that was the only downside to where we stayed since we couldnt walk there. However we were able to bring our dog and we could go swimming when it got too hot
