this is a beautiful old home, very nicely updated in a very peaceful area. very warm and inviting! centrally located to everything ! we would stay here again.
It exceeded our expectations. We loved the location. It was close to all things PNW; outdoors, seafood & great coffee nearby. We will likely book again.
This is a stunningly beautiful home in a lovely environment. Looks like a home in Architectural Digest. Ultra comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms are stocked with super nice products that I'm happy to be introduced to. All in all, a great place to stay. We'll be back!
We were on a farm tour and visiting the Skagit Valley Talking Fields. It was fantastic to be able to stay in an old farm house in the middle of farm country. Comfortable beds!
This home is beautiful and relaxing. We loved exploring the land! There was also a pub that is walking distance that we enjoyed one evening, it was very kid friendly and had good food.
The house was well stocked, the beds comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our grandchildren to run! I wish all rentals were this family friendly.
Beautiful location. Beautiful old farmhouse with plenty of space for kicking back and enjoying life. Great layout with one bedroom downstairs for those with mobility concerns. Well-stocked kitchen. Powerful showers. Great living room for conversations or watching your favorite streaming service.Other than a rather noisy party that was held down the street at 4:30 am on Monday morning (there is a farm nearby), it was peaceful and quiet. I’m going to assume the loud music was not the norm as we heard nothing prior to that and everything was quiet again by 5:00 am.
Everyone in our group agreed this was our favourite accommodation on our trip! It’s a beautiful home, perfectly appointed, in a tranquil country setting. With the Corner Pub down the street and the cute town of Edison not far away, it’s also a fabulous location
We loved staying here. Excellent location, beautiful property, and good communication with hosts. The only downside was that the kitchen was not ideal for cooking or preparing meals…we ended up purchasing a sponge and dish soap from the store because none were provided. But we did enjoy the lovely handcrafted soaps and skincare products in the bathrooms!
We were on a family girls trip before our Alaskan cruise and wanted to explore the Skagit valley. We stayed 2 nights here and loved it so much! The house is charming and comfortable with incredible attention to detail. The spring flowers and bushes took our breath away! We had more than enough room for a group of 5 ladies The beds were comfy and the quiet and gorgeous sunsets were amazing! We would love to come back and stay again!
An Andrew Wyeth painting kept coming to mind during our stay.
This historic house is perfect with simple, cozy design and decor. The bedding, linens, toiletries, and gardens give the home a luxurious, spa feel.
Great location between San Juan Islands and Northern Cascades National Park
The farmhouse itself was awesome! We had a girls trip, arriving from LA, Idaho, and Colorado. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The flowers and blooming trees were such a delight. We were there for the tulip festival, which did not disappoint. The Corner Bar was our favorite. We actually walked down for dinner three different times. I highly recommend this Farmhouse. If you appreciate quiet, a bald eagle perching in the tree in the front yard, and horses in the field you will love this place as we did.
Located on a quiet road in Samish flat farmland, with flocks of trumpeter swans right outside the back door. The antique decor fits the home. We would have been more comfortable had some of the decor been updated to include more armchairs, side tables, kitchen utensils, etc.
The farmhouse was beautiful, relaxing and quiet. The decor, furnishings and style was in keeping with the beautiful history of the home. The fuses went out and we were without electricity for 1/2 day with no response from property management. Geese in the field were fun for the children to see.
We wanted to get close to WWU and spend one last night with our daughter hanging out and playing games before leaving her at school. The house was perfect. Such a cool old farmhouse vibe. They have thought of every little detail.
It looks like a classic farmhouse from the outside. The interior is open, airy and light filled. 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 3/4 baths and a lavatory.
The kitchen is equipped for a full house and the dining room will accommodate a crowd.
Enjoy it as a base for day trips to Bellingham, Mount Baker, the North Cascades and don't skip the nearby delights of Bow and Edison.
The dining room
This home was better than the listing. It was so full of details, each of them so welcoming and personal. There was an element of luxury in the grounds, decor, linens, and the richness of the furnishings. The grounds were vast and so full of life. We were encouraged to explore and invited to share. It was fantastically full of flowers, plants, and a beautiful view of Mt. Baker. It felt secluded and private but was so close to everything. This home felt like functional art. We hope to return some day.
We had a large family gathering from Florida and Hawaii. The house was a perfect fit for us. Plenty of room for everyone. The space was very nicely furnished. The pictures on the listing say it all. Beautifully and artistically decorated. The property was also perfect for us. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play, a garden with seasonal fruit and herbs. Very quiet neighborhood. Amazing sunsets and star gazing. Bravo to the Hosts for really creating a cool and inviting environment.
Absolutely Magical Stay for Our Daughter's Wedding! From the moment we arrived at this stunning 4-bedroom home in Bow, Washington, we knew we had found the perfect home base while we celebrated our daughter's wedding at The Vinery. This isn't just a rental house; it's a beautifully curated experience that feels like stepping into a piece of art.The home's aesthetic is truly captivating. It is beautifully decorated with high-quality antiques and charming historical pieces that give every room character and warmth. Each space is thoughtfully put together, blending classic elegance with modern comfort seamlessly.
