About this property

Updated Ski in/Ski Out Condo - Corner Unit - Two Decks - Awesome Slope Views

Just like its namesake indicates, the Village Center is at the epicenter of the Durango Mountain Resort and Purgatory experience. There is no better location for your winter or summer adventures.

Our single level 3 bedroom/3 bathroom condo (Unit 611) is located on the top floor of the Village Center building and is a corner residence offering amazing views of the base area/slopes, 2 decks and plenty of natural light. The condo has been completely updated and features a washer/dryer, WIFI and a fully stocked kitchen.

The Village Center building features a hot tub on the roof with great views (same floor as the condo - just steps away), a restaurant, 2 bars, a slope-side deck, Purgatory’s ski school, the Purgatory childcare facility, 2 ski rental shops (one for high performance gear), and the resort’s premier shopping location, Purgatory Sports. With the deli right next door offering great sandwiches, breakfast, and light groceries, you truly won’t have to get in your car after you arrive.

Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied.

As with all properties in the Village Center buildings, pets are not allowed per HOA rules.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Perfect location on the mountain

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this property, from the comfortable beds and well decorated condo to the views and location. There were 3 “groups of us” so it worked exceptionally well to each have their own bathroom (2 of which are en suite). And at the end of a ski day, the condo is just a few steps to the hot tub. We would love to stay here again the next time we come to Purgatory,

What a wonderful trip!

We enjoyed the condo and appreciate the prompt response. Very spacious and the view of the base was great! It was very easy to go up and down from the lift. The only issue we had was having consistent WIFI access. Overall, great place and location!

Perfect location and amentitied

This could not be better situated. A few steps to the lifts. Hot tub is down the hall. The unit was stocked with basic seasonings and foil etc for cooking which was a nice surprise. The set up was great for 2 families with 3 small children between us. Only issue was with early check in - the unit was empty the day before and then though I called and messaged we weren’t able to get an early check in which was a little annoying. But otherwise, We talked the whole time about how we would come back for this exact unit. Thanks for a great stay!

A Great Condo

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had lots of fun skiing and when the slopes closed its great to have a nice condo where you can relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. The condo is very well kept, great location and excellent amenities. The description is accurate, although I would say it is short, for it has far more luxuries than what they say :) We even fired up the grill with the provided charcoal. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked, dishwasher is clean, wash/dryer worked excellent. Loved the views, specially in the morning with coffee. Spacious and well furnished. If you are planing a trip to purgatory ski resort, definitely consider this option. VRC, the property manager is great, we definetly will consider them for our next trip!

Comfortable and Great Access!

Reviewer Comments: This unit was on the 6th floor, which is the top floor, and each bedroom had a great view of the village base that was steps away from the lifts. Having three king beds and separate bathrooms was a home run for three couples, as it gave us plenty of room and made us feel very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and it was also nice having a full sized washer/dryer in the unit. Convenience is key when lugging around ski equipment, and it was great having an elevator take you to the 2nd floor and out to the lifts. There is a ski rental store and a pizza restaurant at the bottom of the building, and a liquor/beverage store across from it that was perfect for a quick bite and to grab some refreshments. There is also a sauna and hot tub on the 6th floor. We enjoyed our stay and would reserve this unit again if we ever went back to Purgatory! FYI... The front desk where you will pick up your keys from the property management team is actually in the building across from the village center (across from the building where you will stay), so keep that in mind when checking in because there is a vacant reception desk in the building where you will be staying and you will need to pick up your keys first in order to access the building to get to the unit. Also, they have a charcoal grill on the patio of the unit and it wasn't cleaned out after the last use, but there was a bag of charcoals to use. Not deal breakers... just sharing info. ;)

This condo is very nice-super comfy beds, large bathrooms for each bedroom, large & spacious common space, well stocked. The hot tub & suana just down the hall. Ski in or out the back door of complex.
