Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
We ask guests to start a load of white towels. However if they need to be treated for a spot please leave them out for housekeeping
It’s very important that you make sure the lid to the hot tub is on. Please double check this
If you brought a pet you will need to pick up the poo . We charge extra to do it for you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If house is left unattended lock all doors and windows
Additional pet cleanup fee of $50 will be applied if needed
No loud or disruptive music - Quite hours 10Pm - 9 AM

The Faust House was just what we needed this trip.The Primary Bathroom is enviable, and all the rooms were spacious. The soap and shampoo provided were next level. The backyard was totally fenced and huge with a bonus hot tub!Check in was a breeze. It is so nice to find pet friendly options like this. The host even left dog treats as well as people snacks for us!

What a wonderful place to stay. House was inviting and beautifully decorated and we had our family there for my daughter's wedding. We felt so "at home" and please try this house out. Family Wedding and Vacation

We attended a family wedding and extended our stay for our family vacation. The Faust Haus was absolutely perfect and so charming! The house was very spacious and extremely clean. It was is a very quiet neighborhood and within minutes of so many amazing locations! We loved this house and location so much and I truly didn’t want to leave. (And the massive mirror was a hit with our granddaughters too! )

We recently stayed at the Faust House at the Guadalupe for our son’s wedding, and it was the perfect choice. Having never visited the area before, we were thrilled to find a property so conveniently located—close to downtown New Braunfels for the rehearsal dinner and just minutes from Sophie’s House, where the wedding was held.The house has been beautifully remodeled and easily accommodated our large family, with plenty of space in both the main house and the fantastic back game room/bunkhouse. Everything was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed.Communication with the owner was excellent—clear, prompt, and thorough instructions for check-in and check-out made everything seamless. It truly was the ideal home base for a very special weekend.To top it off, I accidentally left my hair tools in the master bathroom cabinet. The owner quickly found them and mailed them back to me at no charge. That kind of honesty and kindness means the world these days and speaks volumes about the character of the host.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend the Faust House at the Guadalupe!

Fun Family Weekend

We loved this house! It was perfect for our family weekend including five adult kids, plus one spouse and 3 little grandkids and a dog! The hot tub, fire pit, and huge enclosed back yard were exactly what we needed. It was steps to the Faust Bridge with a footpath to river access that was a fun place to float and fish etc. We would all love to return!
