Nice cute house but bad neighborhood

Honestly, the host did make us feel welcomed and even left us a welcome home message upon checking in. When I made reservation I only put 1 adult on reservation so I only had one set of towels. When I reached out to the host they delivered an additional set of towels promptly. Now the bad part. The neighborhood is not anywhere I would recommend staying at. We witness a drug deal right in front of the house. There was a fight between several people that took place outside of the house and we could hear every word of it from inside the house. Cars that went by played their music very loudly and were revving engine into early morning hours. We slept in the room that was not by the road to try a muffle out some of the noise. There was a security system that we made sure to use every night. Just feel that anyone staying should know what the neighborhood is like.

Charming

The home was accurate to listing. Loved the high ceilings, historic vibe and updated finishes. The host was exceptional. The fenced yard and security cameras were a plus as the neighborhood is busy with locals. Pack ear plugs for the roosters!

Wonderful!

We enjoyed our first stay in this home! Loved the big front porch area for sitting and enjoying the weather! Inside of home was very clean and decorated lovely. Very comfortable and quiet (well, with the exception of the roosters LOL! But we loved them too!) Brenda and her husband were fantastic! So glad to meet them! And appreciated that they were on top of anything extra we needed. 10/10 would recommend!

Bad Neighborhood

Did not stay in the at the property. When we drove into the neighborhood we felt unsafe. Houses had bars on the doors and windows. Some houses were in bad state of repair. Would not recommend this property to anyone. Owner refused to give us a credit.
