The house was immaculate, and had everything and more for a great trip. Owner was a pleasure to work with and my family had an awesome time. Good location, highly recommend.
We had a wedding and family coming from out of state. It was so much better to be able to spend our time together cooking, eating, laughing, and enjoying each others company. So much better than staying in separate rooms in a hotel. It was great!!
Recommend! This place was very clean, lots of towels, very cozy, and close to everything! We will be back. You are missing out if you do not stay here. Reasonable price:)
The house was clean and updated, and the neighborhood was quiet. There was plenty of room to accommodate our group of 9, and the property owner was great at communicating and answering any questions that I had! I would definitely recommend booking this property!
Very nice home and neighborhood! You may add more seating and fix the bar stools that were broke! One bedroom upstairs had no AC blowing through the vent! Probably need a second trash can for outside! No ice machine! My family had fun and would stay at this home in the future! Nice backyard!
Nice quiet small town. House very nice and clean . Nice large fenced in yard. Plenty of towels, toilet paper and paper towels. Check in was easy and loved the 2:00 check in time. Good communication. Would stay again.
Fun property which worked great for 11 family members from out of town. I must admit more people could have been tricky. Easy to find and close enough for all activities planned. Could see where it would be great for group events at Grand park.
We have a large family and they have outgrown our home. So it was a nice location close to our house. It accommodated our son and his girlfriend in form marine corp in North Carolina, our daughter, he husband and 1 yr old, our other daughter husband and their 2 yr old. My 84 yr old mom my son and his 8 yr old son and me my wife and our 17 yr old with plenty of room
Positives: Nice looking/cute-looking; easy access to get in, clean. But a number of functional negatives:-No curtains or blackout shades in sleeping areas made for much shorter sleep than expected.-Lots of little broken things. A few examples: toilet paper holders were broken in both bathrooms for instance, hardly any cups for the number of people listed to stay; water dispenser in refrig broken , etc.)-Pillows were flat -Foosball table was very shaky. Would have rated 3.5, but for the price, baseline should be higher, so rounded down to 3.
There were 9 of us that stayed at this bungalow. It was nicely remodeled and cutely decorated. The location was great for our baseball games at Grand Park. There were 9 of us-6 adults and 3 teens. I'd say if you had 14 people it would be super crowded. The property manager was super responsive. The dryer was broken and he lined up a repair person to come over, although we ended up just fixing it ourselves because it was faster. The washer was full of mold so we cleaned it thoroughly and it is now useable. I do think the house could have been cleaner and the back porch furniture is not really able to be used because it is so filthy and the cushions are rotting. The front porch swing is darling and that was probably a favorite place for all of us. The little town of Sheridan is nothing fancy but we felt safe and there is a cute little ice cream/burger place to walk to. Overall, I would stay here again.
I lived in the area of the home until graduating High School and joining the military. Matter of fact I lived two blocks from the house. Sheridan has grown a lot but continues to be a very quiet little town with only a short jot to the bigger town conveniences.
The house used to be run down looking and nothing special, however the remodel has made the place almost perfect. You will find lots of space and plenty of beds in the home. All of the things you want in a hotel but never will find. The Hilton can't even compare. We stayed for four days to attend a family wedding and then had several family over to the house for a cookout. The big backyard has a very large grill, huge deck, and a fire pit. The front porch is great to sit in the swing and listen to the peace and quiet. There is two parks for kids to play within blocks of the house.
If you like food you have True Texan BBQ (real deal BBQ like the folks in Texas make) and Greek's Pizzeria both within blocks on Main Street. Neither will disappoint.
The 80's movie "Hoosiers" was filmed in parts of Sheridan and Ekin to the west of Sheridan. Grand Complex is about a 10 minute drive from the home. Morse Reservoir is about the same if you want to throw a line in the water.
Point blank if you have a crew of people you're traveling with and need a great place to stay without renting a bunch of hotel rooms give this place a try and you will not want to leave.

Would have been five stars if it were clean
We rented this home with a family for a soccer tournament at Grand Park and our children's birthdays. A work commitment required our family to arrive a day early. I contacted the property manager for availability. He was prompt in replying and accommodated my request which was helpful. We arrived late Thursday (10:30 pm). Upon arrival, the house was just as advertised. It's very cute and the updates particularly to the kitchen and bathrooms were well done. Unfortunately, the house had not been properly cleaned. There were visible hairballs on the floor in the kitchen, long black hairs were found in all of the bedding. The bathrooms rugs were supposed to be white but were grey from dirt and other spots. The floors had not been swept and a fake fingernail was on the shelf in the master bedroom. I had to vacuum all the floors, rewash all of the bedding and the bathroom rugs. It was a huge disappointment. The property manager apologized and refunded the nominal cleaning fee right away. We were gone during the day due to soccer. We did turn the oven on one morning to cook birthday cinnamon rolls. It started streaming smoke and when I opened the door I found two old pizza boxes in flames. The fire alarm went off waking everyone. It was loud and wouldn't turn off because of the smoke. The oven hood had not been installed. I hoped the manager would make it right by refunding at least one night of our stay but he did not. He thought firing his cleaning crew was sufficient. Seriously?
