The room was clean and everything worked well for our group. Great location on the Seawall. The Victorian itself is a little in need of repairs. Almost scary when you walk into the hallways to the rooms. The door on the unit could use a nice cleanup and paint. It would feel more inviting. The host was great and was in contact continuously. A nice place to stay on a budget, not a 5 star anymore at The Victorian. They need to clean things up and do some repairs.

We are thrilled that you were satisfied with the services provided by us at the management company and the condo itself and more excited that you enjoyed your stay. I understand completely about the entry vestibule which, unfortunately, we are unable to change as the exterior of the condo itself is owned by and maintained by the Association. We turned in a work order to have this area cleaned and repainted earlier in the summer and they have not yet been able to get it on their schedule. I have forwarded your comments to them in hopes that they will give this more of a priority treatment and I do thank you for including that in your review.

We took a family vacation to galveston and our previous host canceled our condo 3 days prior to our trip. I was in dire search for a condo in the same unit as my extended family. "Makin Memories " was available and the My Galveston Getaway group was nothing short of amazing! They made our family vacation perfect! The Victorian property itself was decent, pools were very nice with a zero entry pool for small kids. The staff around was very polite and we felt very safe with security always around the property! Thr property is also on a corner with a light and crosswalk directly to the beach! The condo was just as pictured, clean and a great view! Woke up to the ocean every day! The bed was comfy, there were lots of towels for us to use when we showered, TVs with roku and a DVD player for my kids to watch their movies. Also the large stand up shower with doors made shower time super smooth with little kids!My only cons were the pillows were well used and very flat. The throw pillows also had tears in them. We hid them away to make sure no other damage occurred. Also all tile so the floors get very slippery very fast but being by the beach with water and sand not much we cam do about that. Overall we enjoyed our trip so much! We will definitely book with My Galveston Getaway again when we come back! Highly recommend this condo for anyone wanting a stress free stay with great views!
