This was our second stay at Casita Easley. Tried to book in between our first and second but it was already booked. Great place for us to spend time with our daughter and her family who live within walking distance. The place is great. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Roberto makes everything simple and stays on top of details, wanting the best for us. We appreciate that!!
Lovely neighborhood, convenient, house needs some work
The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, convenient to a grocery store and gas station. Older ranch style, with kitchen and living room on one end and bedrooms on the other. We got the impression the owner was new to rentals, so we have a few suggestions to make it more comfortable:
-some lamps and more lighting, especially bedside lights in the bedrooms. Living room only had one bulb and was dark.
-clean the freezer and ice maker
-blinds or black-out curtains in the bedrooms
-luggage racks so people can open their luggage without having to put it on the bed every time
-Keurig coffee machine and good coffee/tea selection--less mess for both you and the tenant
-replace the screens on the porch so mosquitos don't get it in. And add some more comfortable seating.
With just a little work and expense, it could be a delightful property. Currently it's adequate if your purpose in NC is not a vacation and you just need somewhere to stay.
