Our stay was so nice! We loved the location and easy drive south to Etown for our baseball tournament and north to Louisville for more fun!
Beautiful, updated, clean and spacious! Upstairs was perfect for our teens. Thank you for such a nice stay!
Coffee bar was a nice touch too!
Beautiful updated home close to so many things to do. We were in town for a baseball tournament with the grandkids. They loved the spacious upstairs and big yard. Jodi accommodated us last minute. We will be back!
Crew rates it high! Had an issue with another place we booked, Host was able to get us accepted and crew resting. Place was very clean and nice. Check in easy and smooth. Host was available if ever needed anything.
Three buddies and I stayed at the house for a few days of bourbon distillery tours. The house was very comfortable and clean. Felt like coming home every day after doing our tours. Shopping and restaurants were nearby as is the interstate for our day trips. I would highly recommend.
The home and hosts are incredible, and the location was perfect for our bourbon trail weekend. I highly recommend booking this exact house if you are coming to Kentucky for the bourbon trail. We had 4 men in our group, but the house could work for up to 12. All the details throughout the house are 5 star quality at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend the Dark Horse Inn!
The house was beautiful and perfect for us 3 couples. In the right spot for hitting the distilleries in the Louisville/Bardstown area. The house contained everything we needed. Very comfortable. Spent a lot of the time in the kitchen/dining room area which was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this home.

About the host
Hosted by Jodi
We are Ohio-natives turned Kentuckians. We love living in this area and love participating in making it a great place for people to live and visit. We went from a social worker and a teacher to being realtors and property investors. We enjoy watching properties be transformed from neglected and unusable to enjoyable, beautiful homes.
We chose to become hosts because we love to travel and find VRBOs that feel like a home away from home. We wanted the opportunity to do that for others in our area.
We spend all our free time with our twin girls; watching movies, hiking, swimming, playing basketball, Mario Party, and doing their laundry. :) We also spend lots of time spoiling our Golden Retriever, Ted.
Why they chose this property
We live here! We love the neighborhood and like to invest in the community we live in.
What makes this property unique
We've added on quite a bit of space to this house to make it large enough for a big group. It is also in a convenient location, between Louisville, Bardstown, and Elizabethtown, which makes it a group spot for doing everything in the area (Wineries, bourbon distilleries, Etown sports complex, KY Expo center, Kentucky Kingdom, Churchill Downs, Waterfront Park, Music Festivals, Bernheim Forest, etc)
