About this property

Rain's End-Breathtaking Views, Close to Winthrop!

This modern yet rustic home was designed to bring the outside in and promote a sense of peace and privacy. The home consists of a main house and a separate studio unit, both with breathtaking views. A new addition to the main house in 2026 adds an upstairs “fire lookout” bedroom and bathroom(New photos coming soon!). With vast views, this bedroom showcases a 270-degree view of the Methow Valley(New Photos Coming Soon!). Off the main level is a new mudroom, laundry room, and den.

Vibrant sunsets and natural scenery combined with modern flair, outdoor activities, and a lively art scene make this Winthrop vacation home an ideal couple's destination.

The primary, upstairs bedroom contains a king bed and a comfortable window seat for reading or napping. The main house contains a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, an open-concept dining and living area, a gas fireplace, and a cozy den for those times when one needs quiet or privacy. The laundry room has a beverage/wine refrigerator for your liquid refreshments. Some of the amenities offered in the full kitchen include a Blue Star Propane Range, dutch oven, crockpot, pizza stone, microwave and a Mocamaster Coffee Maker and Burr Grinder. Each bathroom includes a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Outdoor space abounds, with a covered morning/coffee patio facing east, a larger covered patio with lounge furniture and outdoor dining table on the southside, as well as Adirondack chairs, and a propane grill.

The detached studio is fifteen feet away, with stunning views of Mount Gardner to the west. Originally built as an artist's studio/office, it serves as a second separate bedroom, with queen bed, a full-size loft “sky” bed, three-quarter bath, and kitchenette, with a two- burner Wolf cooktop.

This gorgeous home feels remote but is within walking distance of Winthrop. Rains End offers convenience to shops, restaurants, and outdoor attractions, including Methow Trails, Lost River Winery, and Pearrygin Lake State Park! If one route is closed, it is the YOUR responsibility to make alternate plans for travel. Make sure to check pass reports(and they can change while you are en route) and print out the directions before you leave.

2)Trail Access/Closure Information:
If you are coming to hike, bike, or ski on a trail or system of trails which happen to be closed before or during your stay, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this.
