About this property

Trails End B - 3 bedroom modern Winthrop townhome

Summary:

Trails End (B) is a modern 3-bed, 2.5 bath townhome in Winthrop featuring a bright open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen and a stylish farmhouse dining table. Located within walking distance from the old west town of Winthrop with its great shopping and eateries. Trails End is a fantastic base camp for enjoying all the activities and adventures the Methow Valley has to offer, it's a short drive to all the Methow Trails trailheads for winter cross country skiing and summer mountain biking or hiking, and close by Pearrygin Lake State Park. With its annual programme of events and western ambiance, Winthrop is a fun place to stay! Dogs are welcome and the home is thoughtfully equipped with a dog bed and a basket of pup supplies.

The Space:

Downstairs features an entrance lobby, powder room and open plan living space. The lounge area is furnished with a comfortable couch, pair of easy chairs and flat-screen smart TV. The farmhouse dining table comfortably seats 6. The well-equipped kitchen includes a cook stove, keurig coffee maker, toaster and microwave. The living space opens out onto a private deck.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, writing desk, walk-in closet and a generous ensuite bathroom with two sinks and walk-in shower. There are two more king bedrooms, a bathroom with tub, and laundry room.

The entire home is tastefully furnished and decorated, with many thoughtful touches. The quality of design, furnishing and decor make this an outstanding rental home, suitable for families, or a group of friends. ‘Trails End B’ differs from its sister unit ‘Trails End A’ in that the third bedroom has a king bed rather than bunks.

This is an energy efficient home with a whole-house air conditioning and heating system, just set the thermostat to your desired temperature.

The Neighborhood:

The home is located on the bluff overlooking the Chewuch River only 5 minutes walk from downtown Winthrop. The old west town of Winthrop has great shopping, bakery and dining establishments; the Shafer Museum is definitely worth a visit to learn about the local history. Both ski and mountain bike rentals are available in town and the Methow Community Trail starts right in town. Don’t forget the ice skating rink and Methow Rafting

Winthrop is a fantastic hub for all the activities and adventures the Methow Valley has to offer, it's a short drive to all the Methow Trails' trailheads at Sun Mountain, Cub Creek and Mazama for winter cross country skiing and summer mountain biking or hiking.

Further afield it's a 30 minute drive to Washington Pass in the North Cascades National Park, and another five minutes from there to Blue Lake trailhead. Loup Loup ski hill is around 35 minutes in the other direction. Pearrygin Lake State Park is less than a 5 minute drive from the home; for fishing, water-sports, sno-park and fat biking trails.

Winthrop’s annual calendar of events includes the Rhythm and Blues Festival, Vintage Car Rally, Memorial Day Rodeo, and Christmas At The End Of The Road (check the town’s website for details).
