About this property

This quaint 600 sq ft detached vacation Cottage has everthing you a
need to experience the charm of Little Cayman. With all the amenities of the Conch Club (2 pools, dock, spa, snorkeling at Owen Island, shore diving, beachfront, kayaking on both the ocean and inland Boobie Reserve, and bike riding) included. Within walking distance to all that Blossom Village has to offer, including restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery, hardware, museums and the Booby birding center this Cottage has it all. Our Cottage is part of the Conch Club Condominiums but is the only stand alone unit in the complex. Although not directly on the beach you can see the ocean and the inland Booby Pond Nature Reserve from either side of the unit. The reason we love it is that you have privacy from the other guests and can come and go from the public spaces of the complex when you please. There are two pools to choose from depending on whether you want to relax by yourself or be in the mix with a group. If you fancy reading a book on the beach we have a wondeful shade hut with a hammock or feel free to use the loungers at the pools or on the beach. If feeling hungry you can cook on our brand new gas stove or outdoor chacoal grill or walk 5 minutes either direction to a restaurant. To the south (Little Cayman Beach Club) if you want delicious quick bar food or pizza and a lively crowd, or to the north to Southern Cross Club for a more up-scale experience. Be sure to check in at Southern Cross earlier in the day with the chef to see what he has on the menu for the night as it changes from day to day. If feeling more adventurous, grab the bikes and head 10 minutes north to Kingston Bight for a quick bite or south to The Hungry Iguana for a more upscale meal.

We have 3 beach bicycles for you to use. You are within 5-10 minutes walking and biking of the best of 'downtown' Little Cayman. We also have 4 kayaks you can use on either the Booby Pond Reserve or the Ocean.

About the host

Your host

We live in Grand Cayman and absolutely love coming over to our Cottage in Little Cayman to dive and let the kids run free on the island. We love how safe we feel and have memories of how we felt growing up in the countryside in the Midwest. Our cottage is a bit compact, but we like it as it forces us to explore the island and not sit inside and zone out watching the T.V. (which our kids would probably love to do :) ) Instead we play on the beach which is 10 steps away, and in the Conch Club's 2 pools and hot tub. The kids fish off the dock and snorkel in the Bay all day. If we are feeling adventurous we will kayak out to Owen Island an have a picnic for lunch. If you want to dive, the dive boats will pick you up from our dock which is so convenient. If you want to explore the rest of the island but have not rented a car- feel free to use our three bikes or two kayaks. If you are feeling a bit tired from the sun, just call Eaton who is the Conch Clubs driver/manager. He will take you anywhere you want, just give him a tip. Fyi- he will also pick you up and drop you off from the airport, so that is a huge bonus. Just kick your feet up and enjoy your trip. Feel free to contact us if you need anything at all.
