This was a great house! Our group of 7 was very comfortable and the location was wonderful - close to Bardstown Rd and Cherokee park. Beds were comfy, everything was clean and we-decorated. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at this vacation house near Bardstown Road. The house was very clean and thoughtfully set up, with comfortable beds and a great layout that worked perfectly for our group. The location is very quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked with a great range of cooking items and dishes, making it easy to prepare meals at home, although we sampled many local restaurants too. The location was ideal with so much to do in Louisville this time of year, and we were only about 10ā€“15 minutes from everything. It was also a big plus being able to walk to Kroger. The upstairs was a little cooler than the downstairs (which was surprising for winter), but it didnā€™t take away from the trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place

Family get away

Great Property in a wonderful neighborhood

This home was the perfect launching pad to our family activities in Ft. Knox and Louisville. This swanky decorated cabin, had all the comforts a family could desire. Comfortable beds, all the kitchen gadgets and TVs in every room. They owner was very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back to this place if we ever find ourselves in Kentucky again.

Family Bourbon Trip

My sons and Nephews came to Louisville to do some bourbon tours and make a trip to Makers Mark to dip some Ambassador Bottles we have been waiting on for 6.5 years. This house was a perfect fit for our family trip. Very nice house that fit the 6 of us in a great location to come back to after a long day of touring and tasting. The kitchen was great for a family dinner we had one night in the house. 8 min from the Airport and downtown Louisville. 5 Star Trip!

Cute, charming older house that was tastefully remodeled and just as pictured in the photos. Neighborhood is safe and walkable, close to Bardstown Rd, Cherokee park, and some of Louisvilleā€™s gorgeous historic mansions. (Great location for runners/walkers!) Beds were comfy, plenty of pillows. Kitchen and living room were each spacious enough for 7 of us gals to hang out and chat. Manager was easy to work with and responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant Property

This property met most of our needs. I appreciated the fans in the bedrooms and how comfortable the bedrooms were. The home was the perfect size for our family with room to spare. The decor was very nice. The check-in was very smooth and it was nice of the manager to check on us during our stay. We were there for the Farm Machinery Show which was about 15 minutes away. I would recommend this property.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were VERY responsive and accommodating! However, I wouldnā€™t stay here again. The house had lots of finishing issues and a terrible odor. I was glad I brought a frebreeze spray! The bathrooms are very small, there is no vanity space, and the upstairs bathroom has a large step up that was a little scary in the middle of the night. The bedrooms donā€™t have dressers and the living room lacked tables. Even though you pay a large cleaning fee at check-out you are expected to take out all the trash, clean and put away all the dishes, strip the beds, and wash the towels.

We understand that the layout and size of our bathrooms may not suit everyone's preferences although each has a standard vanity with storage as can be seen in our photos. Also note that each bedroom has closets with shelves, sizeable nightstands, and some even have desks, providing ample storage for any length of stay. Regarding our cleaning policy, we want to clarify that we do not require guests to do any extensive cleaning. The cleaning fee covers all necessary cleaning services. We only ask a few small things as a courtesy as a guest in our home, such as taking out the trash, putting away dishes, stripping the beds, and placing used towels in the laundry area. This helps us prepare the home efficiently for the next guests. There is no obligation, it is a simple courtesy request. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our offerings. This is a great place to stay! This was a very clean, well-maintained home. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was an inviting atmosphere, with a modern touch.
