This property was absolutely spectacular, we really had the best time. Evenings on the porch could not have been better. The kitchen had everything you could imagine to use. It truly was perfect.

We had a great weekend at the woodsy house! Beautiful property and enough room for everyone to be super comfortable. The kitchen is unbelievably well stocked. Host was responsive and kind. We hope to book again someday!

Thank you Shannon for your review. It was a pleasure hosting you. I appreciate your feedback. Thank you also for posting pictures of the walk to the dock. For reference for future guests, there are exactly 29 easy concrete steps with very sturdy hand rails, and then another 7 wooden steps to the walk over ramp. This may be more than some homes on the lake and a lot less than others. For people that have physical conditions that prevent them from doing stairs we recommend driving to twin creeks marina or the Tims Ford State park public ramp and picking them up there. Although our parents in their late 70s and early 80s are able to navigate the steps, we understand it may be too much for some.

This was the cleanest VRBO that we have ever stayed. Plenty of room to sleep and loved the dock. The only thing that I would change and this is minor is some of the kitchen pans need to be replaced. The coffee pot (carafe) was missing, but the owner offered to insta cart us a new one which was so nice. One of our friends brought their coffee pot so we were good. They have a nice 30 cup percolator that was perfect for our group. We used the two kayaks and paddle board. The sofa and rug in living room are pretty stained up, but the rest of the furniture especially the dining table were perfect. WE had a blast at this place and will come back.

Holiday Get Away

Our family stayed from Wed-Sun over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had family and friends over to celebrate. Everyone had nothing but wonderful comments regarding the property and its amenities. Especially the view and game room. The home is tastefully decorated and most amenities have been updated. This would make a great summer destination having access to the lake. Hope to come back soon!

Best house to rent!!!!!

Our family loves the lake. This house has a large dock where we docked 3 boats and a jet ski. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we were stuck inside for most of the time. There were so many games to keep my large family entertained. The porches were amazing to relax on. The owners were so nice to accommodate us. We will definitely book this house again. We have rented several houses on Tim’s Ford. Hands down this was the best house we have rented so far.

A perfect match

Our multi generational family celebrated a milestone birthday over a long weekend. This property exceeded all of our needs. Plenty of space to spread out and plenty to do (even with some rain). The basement was an absolute treat where the uncles/aunts took on many matches of shuffleboard, ping pong and air hockey against the younger crew. So much fun. We fished on the dock, relaxed and just enjoyed each other’s company. There were even some toys for our youngest crew members to enjoy too. The host was so responsive and answered every question quickly. I hope other families will enjoy this property as much as we did.

We had a group of 9 adults on our stay here. We really enjoyed the house. The game room was tons of fun and if we were not doing that we were hanging out outside on a deck or down at the dock trying to catch fish or just taking in the peacefulness by the water.Any questions I had were answered promptly by the host as well.
