Property was clean and convenient. Anthony was amazing with communication and check in was a breeze. Spent most of our time away from the home, but enjoyed it nonetheless!
I stayed here with my family and it was perfect! New and updated with a warm, welcoming feel. We went white water rafting and the rafting center is 1 block away so super convenient. We also enjoyed the fireplace and communication with the host was quick and easy. Would stay again
Everything was great. Nice place to stay and in the middle of a lot to do in Lehighton and Jim Thorpe.

The only downfall about this place is the fact of the hot tub being inflatable and not truly a real hot tub, which was super disappointing. It has one jet and can hardly maintain a temperature of 93-94 degrees F. I will also say the neighbors connected to their house are extremely loud at any given hour of the day or night. The area that it is in also doesn’t exactly give off the safest feel. Other than that, the house and small backyard are very well done and cute. If it had a real hot tub and not an inflatable one, I would have rated this 5/5.
Lovely house, clean & spacious for a group of 4. The host is very friendly, respectful & responsive. It's only 6 min drive from Jim Thorpe, and also not far from sight seeings. I highly recommend it! We'll be sure to visit again! My 6-year old niece loved it!
The property is exactly what you see in the pictures. Host was very nice. Location is convenient to Jim Thorpe. The house next to us was very run down, but that didn’t bother us in the least. I recommend this property as an excellent place to stay when you’re visiting Jim Thorpe.
The home is located right near the main trail! You could walk into town if you wanted to! The home is beautifully designed. Our favorite parts were the hot tub and the living room. The fireplace is so quaint and we used it every morning and night. The home was incredibly clean and organized. The owner was so helpful. We felt safe and secure during our stay.

The unit was clean and nicely decorated however the walls were paper thin and the neighbors were fighting and had their TV on loud late into the night so it was hard to sleep. The house on the other side was very junky. The area was isolated and didn't feel safe. We got back from our evening at 10:30pm to find that we were locked out. The host did not answer his phone, texts or VRBO messages until after 7am the next morning. After sitting in our car waiting for the host to get back to us, we ended up getting a locksmith at midnight who said that there shouldn't be a deadbolt on a door separate from the keyless entry. The keyless entry should be the only lock. The host did not make it clear that the keyless entry did not operate the deadbolt and he was not very kind about the whole situation. He didn't offer to pay any of the 386 bill which we are left with and will deal with through VRBO.

Hello, my name is Anthony! I grew up in this small town which fuels my love for outdoor adventures and genuine connections. I enjoy hiking, cycling, and exploring local trails, plus discovering cozy coffee shops and family-friendly eateries around town. Being a host lets me share the things I love most—a comfortable space, friendly recommendations, and a place where guests can feel at home after a day of exploring. I value clear communication, thoughtful touches, and ensuring everyone leaves with a few new favorite stories. It’s a joy to welcome you, and I’m happy to help with local tips or tailored recommendations for your stay.
Why they chose this property
Choosing Lehighton, PA, feels like embracing a quiet, authentic corner of the Poconos with just enough adventure to keep things interesting. Picture a small-town landscape where tree-lined streets meet a friendly, down-to-earth pace. I was drawn to Lehighton’s real sense of community—neighbors waving hello, local shops with genuine character, and a calendar full of small-town events that bring people together. The town sits at the edge of the Mahoning Valley, offering a basecamp to outdoor exploration while still feeling cozy and livable.
Scene-wise, mornings begin with crisp air and the soft buzz of daily life. Old storefronts line Main Street, each with its own story, from inviting cafes to family-owned hardware stores. The nearby Lehigh Gorge State Park and Panther Run provide easy access to hiking, biking, and scenic river views, making weekend outings feel effortless. In town, you’ll find you can walk almost anywhere—a rarity that invites spontaneous strolls, a quick coffee, or an ice-cream stop after a day outdoors. The local parks are well-kept and kid-friendly, often hosting small concerts or community yoga in the summer.
What I enjoy most about the neighborhood is the balance of simplicity and accessibility. You’re close to nature—you're never far from a trail, a river bend, or a picnic spot—yet you’re not isolated: you’re connected to friendly faces and familiar routines. Lehighton’s location means easy drives to larger attractions in the Poconos for day trips, but the town itself remains a welcoming haven where you can slow down without feeling left out of the action. The sense of pride in local history—reflected in preserved architecture and commemorative events—adds depth to every walk, every chat with a shopkeeper, and every sunset over the wooded hills. For me, Lehighton is where you can savor the serenity of small-town life while staying plugged into the joy of weekend adventures.
