SPECTACULAR VIEW of Big Sky-Hot Tub & Fireplace-1/2 Mile on Free Shuttle to Mtn.
We fell in love when we saw the view of Big Sky Resort's spectacular Lone Peak, which is enjoyed from the Master Bedroom Suite, Living Room and Outdoor Deck. Combine that with the in-unit hot tub room, fireplace, plenty of space, lodgepole pine beam work and one of the best Mountains in the Rockies convinced us that we want to hang our hat here. Slope side often requires a lot of walking, is noisy, and comes at a premium price. We're only a half mile away on the free shuttle. Take our elevator down to the heated indoor garage, and a few steps out the door you can board the free shuttle that takes you right to the Big Sky Resort entrance. The large 'L' shaped Living Room, Dining Room, TV/Den area gives everyone space to spread out with couches, recliners and good reading lights. Or for some private time escape to the peaceful sun room for a nap, or use the desk to set-up your lap-top. Kitchen was rennovated in 2017 with all new appliances. Free laundry, free high speed wi-fi internet with 2020 router upgrade, HD Smart TV/Blue Ray DVD/CD/VCR surround system, firewood, and a boot & glove dryer-handles 6 pair of each at once.

Property was as advertised with spectacular views of the mountain. The on-demand shuttle was very convenient. Communication with Brett was excellent. Would definitely stay there again!
Really great experience. Brett was super-responsive and patient even when something came up during check-in that was completely my fault. The place is very comfortable. Not fancy, but comfortable and more than an enough room for my family of four—could easily accommodate a larger family with four kids. The shuttle exceeded my expectations; never waited longer than 8 minutes and in most cases it was less than a 5-minute wait. The pick-up for the shuttle is just around the corner from the unit—literally a 1-2 min walk.Very happy overall and I think the unit presents great value. I highly recommend it.
We came to ski and had a fabulous time at the mountain. The shuttle was so convenient - you can’t have a more efficient transfer to the slopes if you stayed at the lodge hotel. The view is as advertised. Communication with the host is stellar.
Brett is easy to communicate with. His VRBO is WAAAAAY nicer than his pictures (Update your pictures Brett! Lol) the shuttle was easy to use, never waited more than 5 minutes. I will stay at this VRBO again!
Really an amazing property, close and convenient to everything. Communication with Brett in organizing the stay was so thorough and timely. Couldn’t have asked for any better.
Had a wonderful time at Brett’s condo. It’s spacious and well stocked. Lovely hot tub was a great bonus and the sun room is a wonderful spot to recoup after a challenging ski day. Would definitely stay again.
Property was excellent. Great location with easy access to slopes. Tram service was very easy. Owner provided great information and was extremely accommodating. Would definitely book again. Loved the VHS collection!
Summer trip with great location to Big Sky and all of its amenities. Condo was as described, comfortable beds, plenty of room for all five of us to stretch out after a hike or sight-seeing. Well appointed condo unit.
The condo was absolutely perfect and had EVERYTHING we needed and more. The owner was amazing with details and help. It could not have been more perfect for the 6 of us.
My friends and I stayed at this unit for our annual ski trip. The unit was clean and as described. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy.

I'm from a northeast skiing family. My parents met through a ski club my Dad was president of, and started me on skis at the age of 3 at Whiteface, a NY Adirondack mountain that hosted the 1980 Olympic Alpine events. This great mountain, with its 3,200 vertical drop, is where I learned to ski every type of condition, in all forms of extreme weather.
After college I got into exploring new ski areas, and started tallying all the ones I had been to. According to my Excel list I've been to 132 ski areas so far.
I have been to most major resorts throughout North America, and have started ticking off some of the more exotic ones on my bucket list in South America, New Zealand and Europe. I still enjoy the small family run operations too. For me, its just about being outside gliding down a mountain. I don't need fancy resort infrastructure and perfect groomers to have fun. That is the beauty of starting the sport in the era I did.
With all that said, my wife and I were looking for a place out West that we could take our kids to, and spend some retirement time at. I had been to all the big name mountains prior to my first visit to Big Sky which we instantly fell in love with. The mountain had every type of terrain: from the double black diamonds I enjoy now, to the type of terrain I will enjoy in my senior years. The lifts were old salvaged lifts from other ski areas. That was okay. We saw the potential and saw that Boyne was pumping money into the resort, so we bought our place in 1991, and haven't looked back since. With most lifts replaced by high speed detachables, new lodges, and the tram to the top, this area rocks.
Throughout the years we've been slowly fixing our Montana home up. In 2013 we replaced the 29 year old hot tub. In 2017 we renovated the kitchen with all new appliances completing our punch list. We have really enjoyed seeing our renters positive comments about their stay, and we will continue this labor of love to make it great for us and them.
