Closest cottage to Laketown Beach!

Beachgrass is the first of four cottages within the Hidden Dune Cottage Community offering 6 acres of mature woods that is adjacent to Laketown Beach. Just a short walk down the driveway and you arrive at the entrance to the park where you can enjoy the sand dunes, beach and the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan.

Note: Laketown Beach is a beautiful, secluded beach and is considered a “hidden gem.” The beach is accessed through the dunes and involves a large amount of stairs. There are platforms along the stairs that make for stunning views of Lake Michigan!

This property is located half way between Saugatuck and Holland making it very convenient to explore these coastal towns. It is a short drive to Huyser Farm Park where you can hike and pick blueberries for free. Other nearby attractions include the Saugatuck State Park and the Felt Manor.

Inside is fully remodeled and professionally designed including many features such as in unit laundry, a screened in porch, and beautiful unique vaulted ceilings. A fully stocked kitchen, warm living space, cozy bedroom, and unique 2nd bedroom loft make this cottage an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the Lake Michigan coast.

Beautiful cottage right by the beach!

LOVED this A-frame cottage! And loved being that close to the beach! The teens loved the loft sleep area, we loved the checkers/backgammon game on the screened-in porch, was nice to have lunch or dinner in the shade on the patio after a hot day at the beach. It is a little bit of a workout to get to the beach, but not too bad....slide down on your bare feet on the sand slope, and take the long steps back up. Beautiful sunset watching, too. Rental is right in between Holland and Saugatuck/Douglas. Was fun to explore both.

Amazing location, perfect for our family

We feel very fortunate to have found this place and been the first guests to stay here. Property was exactly as pictured and described. There were actually more amenities there than listed, we were very pleased. Location to the beach was an A+ and we loved the close distance to both Holland and Saugatuck, exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. We enjoyed exploring the area, playing games provided, and relaxing at the beach- we didn’t turn on the tv once! Communication with the owners was very thorough and quick. My girls are already asking when we can go back next.
