Best stay at the Blue Bungalow, Lake Hamilton

Great location. Beautiful, clean property set in a quiet location but better than all these was the property manager, Mary. Mary is thorough and timely in her communication and instruction for check in/out. She is hospitable to a fault. She went out of her way to turn the outside lights on for us in the event we arrived after dark. They don’t come any better than Mary. This was just the best stay and for certain, the ‘Blue Bungalow’ and Mary will be our first choice for lodging at Lake Hamilton, till death us do part!

Great Property Manager and property

My sister and I stayed at Blue Bungalow for a week. I inadvertently entered incorrect dates and Mary was able to fix that for us very quickly. She suggested a few restaurants and things to do that fit us to a tee. We loved sitting on the front porch and drinking our coffee while listening to the birds. Thanks to the great porch umbrella, we could even do it in the rain. We will definitely be back and suggest it to others.

CUTE Bungalow!

First of all, the host, Mary, was amazing! She responds within minutes, she makes sure you have everything you need, and she is very nice to rent from. The bungalow was very cute. Plenty of room for four people. The two separate bathrooms were really nice. Outside deck was really nice as well. One set of the patio lights didn’t work, but that is not the owner’s fault. It was clean and very comfortable. Also, if you are floating the Ouachita River, it is in a perfect location! Thank you Mary!

Blue Bungalow

Three night stay. The interior was pretty clean with exception to inside of oven had some crumbs in it. The dishwasher had dishes inside & didn’t know if they were clean. Otherwise, the interior was pretty accommodating. The exterior had a small front deck with plastic chairs, which were fine. The very large deck in the back had furniture with cushion, all were dirty from weather, one was damaged with a towel draped over it. The grill was dirty. We were encouraged to use the kayaks, but were told we needed life jackets, which we did not have. The kayaks were stored under the back porch/deck area and were filthy. No way I would have gotten in one. The place has so much potential with just a bit of elbow grease and maybe plants. The grounds were mostly dirt, rocks and weeds. The neighbors were yelling at either their kids or a pet. The houses near by were very run down with lots of junk around. Also the property had lots of old wood pallets and concrete pads that were partially covered with ripped up tarp. There was air conditioning in one of the two bedrooms and in the living area.

vacation stay

This property is just great. It is nice and quiet and very clean and just enough room for all of us. We like being out where it is peaceful. The person who owns it was very nice and when we texted her, she responded immediately. We will come back and stay again.
