About this property

Just the 2 of Us - Free Spring Night

This cozy fairy cottage has just been remodeled with a picturesque mural that draws you into the forest. Scattered rhinestones on the mural reflect and give the impression of fireflies and fairies fluttering overhead. During your stay, use the hiking sticks and day-pack provided for your adventures in the North Georgia Mountains!

Just the 2 of Us is only four miles from Unicoi State Park, where there are hiking trails, fishing, a restaurant, and a beach. It is also just six miles from downtown Helen, with plenty of activities, restaurants, and shops to explore.

There is a galley kitchen with a microwave and combination standard drip/K-cup coffee maker. The cabinets are filled with all the dinnerware, cookware, flatware, and glassware you will need for your stay. There is a full-size refrigerator and freezer, as well as an oven and stove top for cooking.

Enjoy the gas fireplace and television from the couch or the king-size bed. Fiber-Optics has been installed for the highest internet speed possible in our area! Bring your subscription information to log into the SmartTV on your favorite channels such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu or enjoy the free YouTubeTV set up for your entertainment. On YouTubeTV, you will have access to live news, sports, movies, and tv shows.

Please note that this is an open floor plan or studio cottage. This cottage does not have a private bedroom

The bathroom has a combination tub and shower, a hair dryer and a wall heater. We provide the towels and linens, as well as a few towels for four-legged best friends!

Turn the day into a relaxing evening in the hot tub located just outside the sliding glass doors on the back porch. Sit by the gas firepit sipping a glass of wine while your partner grills a couple of steaks on the gas grill. We provide the propane, too!

Just the 2 of Us is a group cabin perfect for a couples getaway. This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Just the 2 of Us is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel up to the property. Low profile vehicles not recommended.
• Pets: Pets are allowed at Just the 2 of Us
• Location: 5 miles to downtown Helen.

We enjoyed our stay so much. It was the perfect balance of comfort and affordability for us. We really wanted a cabin with a hottub more than anything and we got that!!! The hottub was clean and at the temp I requested which I appreciated so much because I can’t tolerate really super hot water. The only reasons we didn’t give 5 stars is because there was no dish drainer and since there wasn’t a dishwasher there needed to be a drainer to wash dishes, the mattress was soft.. way too soft so that we both sank right to the middle of the bed.. I love a soft mattress so it wasn’t a deal breaker but one a tad firmer would be better and the comforter seemed a bit old and dingy. It was clean though… just looked dingy next to the white sheets. It took me a minute and a phone call to the office to figure out the heaters. ( I can be a blonde ding bat) There is one electric fireplace and one split unit ac and heat unit) but after that we were toasty and comfy. I love that there’s a ceiling fan as well because I like air circulation when I’m sleeping. All in all we had a most enjoyable and romantic stay at the Just the 2 Of Us cabin and will likely return!

The cabin smelled musty like mold and smoke. The floor was covered in sand, clearly not cleaned. There were no laundry pods to wash clothes with and the guestbook informed me that the porch fireplace only works Oct-Mar. You don’t want the 3rd night free, assuming your trip falls in the timeframe listed in the fine print.
