Spectacular Mountain Views of Tray & Chimney Mountains

“Over the creek and through the woods” . . . to the guest house at Sautee Paso Fino Ranch, a secluded cottage overlooking Chattahoochee National Forest. This privately owned, family mountain retreat is tucked away between historic Nacoochee Valley and Unicoi State Park – convenient to Helen, Unicoi State Park, Clarkesville, and Cleveland.

The Guest House is located on a ridge overlooking the Chattahoochee National Forest and is accessed by a gravel road. As you drive in, there are views of Tray & Chimney Mountains. The picnic table & swing are perfect places to relax and view the mountains.

We welcome you to visit us and enjoy the majesty of the beautiful and ever-changing North Georgia Mountains where each season displays its own distinctive colors and scenes. Surrounding Helen is the Chattahoochee National Forest, Smithgall Woods, and Unicoi State Park. Richard Russell Scenic Highway and the Appalachian Trail are nearby – as well as many streams, waterfalls, hiking trails, and a wide variety of outdoor activities.

We keep a guest book that includes listings of shops, museums, restaurants, and other attractions.

As you arrive, we personally greet you to give you an opportunity to preview the guest house. We make every effort to provide a clean and pleasant environment for you to enjoy; therefore, this is strictly a non-smoking facility.

Please notify owners about breed/size of pets upon your inquiry. Our pet friendly policy allows a maximum of 2 house trained dogs (50 lb limit). We do ask that your pets be placed in an inside carry kennel when you are away from the property. With your inquiry please state that you agree with our pet policy. Arrangements can be made for us to provide a carry kennel if needed. (No cats, please).

There are no rate changes for weekends or holidays.

To save costs for the traveler, we charge NO deposit, pet fee, etc. and we pay credit card fees. VRBO charges a service fee, and law requires that you pay state and local hotel/motel taxes.

Due to the creek crossing......No Motorcycles or ATVs

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
There are bags on the dining table. Place the (1) used bed linens in one bag and; (2) the kitchen and bath mat(s), and the used towels/wash cloths in the second bag. Place the bags on kitchen floor.
Empty all trash cans and place the trash bag(s) in the center of the kitchen floor.
Clean all dishes and utensils. Return them to the cabinets/drawers.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If you are bringing a pet, please notify the owner describing the size and type of dog when you make your reservation request.
If you need to leave your pet at the property, place them in their kennel while you are away.
