The house was absolutely beautiful and every room was decorated in early 1900s decor, but had all the modern conveniences one would need for a relaxing and restful experience. German beer steins lined the kitchen cabinets and every where you turned you could see country/German themed antiques. The property was large and well maintained. Every afternoon we would take a stroll around the stocked pond and in the evenings we'd relax in the private hot tub. If you are seeking a place to get away from the busiest of everyday life. This is the place to go. You will not be disappointed. We have to say this was the cleanest place we have ever stayed at. Our host, Jim, was very helpful and friendly. Our new mostest favoritest place to get away.
