This villa is located 100 yards from the beach. The Kiawah beach is 10 miles long and very wide at low tide. Sea turtles nest there and dolphins can often be seen playing just off shore.
The Night Heron Park recreation area is a short walk across the street. In it are the Nest, the Treehouse and the Perch.
The Nest/Cafe has food for dine-in or take-out. It also offers fresh-baked goods, coffee, beer, wine, groceries and other retail items.
The Treehouse Activity Center offers bowling, golf simulators, an art and craft studio, the Nature Center (with local animal exhibits), and an Arcade (with Skeeball, Air Hockey, basketball hoops, Mario Kart, and more). Boat and land tours can also be scheduled there.
The Perch (inside the Treehouse) is a pub/bar with a full food and snack menu.
There are miles and miles of trails throughout the island.
The Sanctuary Hotel and Spa is within easy walking distance. It has several excellent restaurants. Kiawah Resort has 4 great public golf courses (Cougar Point, Turtle Point, Osprey, Oak Point) and one championship public course (The Ocean Course). The tennis facilities have been ranked #1 by Tennis Magazine. Also, downtown Charleston is an easy a 40 minute drive.
Kiawah works hard to preserve the wildlife and natural beauty of the island.
This property operates under the Town of Kiawah Island business license 20-000079.
