Beautiful house and location

My NC and TN family joined us for a long weekend at the property and we had a great time. The house is spacious and beautiful, and is on a quieter part of the lake, but still close enough to local marinas and restaurants to make it convenient. We all enjoyed it very much.

Amazing home with some nice surprises

This place was fantastic and the owners were very responsive to our questions. The home was well equipped both inside and out. We really enjoyed the lake and boats that were part of the rental. The best part of our visit was finding the secret waterfall... Amazing

Personal Attention

The property was just as we wanted. The owners went over the top to make our stay comfortable. Since it was Thanksgiving, they made sure we had banking pans, plenty of storage containers, foil, wrap and related. Treats were welcomed as well as the K cups. The kitchen was excellent, there was not a single pot, pan, utensil and related that we were looking for. The waterfront "toys" were a hit with the children, an unexpected bonus.

We were a group of 8 adults plus an infant who all drove in from TN and MD. The house layout was great for our group, the view is beautiful and they equipped it with coffee, tea, cooking staples etc that all really made it easy to cook a couple times and relax at the property. We utilized the firepit and deck many times as well as the basement game area. The owner put out a high chair for the baby which really helped with space for packing. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. One drawback was we didn’t try to use the kayaks til towards the end of the trip so didn’t realize there were no paddles. The owner quickly overnighted one. There is What’s Up Water Sports just 5 minutes away which we used to rent a pontoon a couple days. Due to the drought, this particular cove has very brown water right now but the larger parts of Lake Norman have beautiful water for boating and swimming. The State Park has a free beach and isn’t too far to drive to to dip into as well. Highly recommend for a large group!

Great house with room for everyone. The basement games and pool table, the covered dock, and the kayaks/canoe/paddle boat were favorites for the teens/young adults. The view was the favorite for the older adults. Beautiful! It was easy to cook for 9 people and having the two refrigerators was wonderful. The only negative was no trash service.
