Relax on the river in this rustic log cabin, which includes a private hot tub on the screened-in porch. The rushing waters of the Little Pigeon River provide a peaceful ambiance during your stay. You can also snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, made of native stone, on those cool East Tennessee evenings. Wood is provided from October through February. A mix of antique and contemporary furnishings add to the rustic feel of this cabin. All the excitement of Downtown Gatlinburg is a short walk away; however, if you don't feel like walking, take advantage of the near by Trolley Service to Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge .

This cozy cabin, located in a quiet neighborhood, is the perfect romantic retreat for you and that special someone, or bring a group of family and friends to enjoy comfortable accommodations for up to 6 guests. A spiral staircase leads you to the two bedrooms upstairs, both of which contain ceiling fans and queen size beds. The bathroom on this floor is furnished with a granite countertop, tile floor, and a shower/tub combo. The main floor features a queen size bed in the antique log great-room with hardwood floors. In addition, this floor features a 32' flatscreen TV with cable/DVD/VCR, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table, full bathroom with shower/tub combo, and washer and dryer. The screened-in porch overlooking the river is also host to a ceiling fan, comfortable rocking chairs, and authentic barn-wood doors, which provide extra privacy. For you anglers, the stocked river is a guaranteed good-time for even the most novice of fisherman.

This place is truly amazing! The location couldnt be more perfect. It's on the river, and in the woods enough to have the mountain feel. But close enough to town, you can walk. The cabin was clean, cozy, and adorable. We will absolutely be back next year.

We were greeted by a black bear one morning and it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Very Cozy Cabin

This cabin was so cozy. We love how the livingroom is an old cabin with a wood burning fireplace. The hottub facing the creek was so relaxing.

Fall Break get away

The location was great! The property was very clean, the only issue and it wasn't a deal breaker was that the sofa had a bad smell to it which I am sure was due to it being a pet friendly cabin. Everything else was perfect!

Wonderful little getaway cabin in the heart of Gatlinburg!

My girlfriends and I just loved Granny River Retreat! It is close enough to easily walk into Gatlinburg and very fun place on the river! Happy Honeymoon

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is amazing. Location was perfect. The view and sound of the river made it the perfect in town get away. The hot tub on the screened in back porch was a great way to start and end the day. We really enjoyed sitting out by the river. We were visited multiple nights by some friendly geese. The house was very well kept and clean. We enjoyed looking at all the pictures and post card. Wish thwir had been a book of the history of the cabin. Loved the spiral steps, 2 full bathrooms, dishwash, and washer/dryer. It's only a 15 min walk to down town or there are multiple trolly stops near by. Loved how easy it was to get where we wanted to go. Loved all the supplies that were in the cabin too. Was nice to grill and be able to make a meal together. Would totally stay here again. Great job! Thanks for providing us with such a sweet place to honeymoon!

We had a white Christmas. Hadn't had one in years, It was beautiful.

Hot Tub on the screened in back porch was very convenient. Please let the owner know, the upstairs bedroom to the right has a light bulb missing from one of the lamps. The other lamp has a blown bulb. The kitchen facet leaks bad when you turn on the hot water.

We loved this cabin. Very clean & very convenient to the Gatlinburg strip. The hot tub was perfect. No complaints at all. I appreciate the owner texting me directly during our stay to let us know a bear was spotted in our area.

Great family place

We loved this place, it was my husband, son and I. The room downstairs appears to be the original cabin and that was so neat. The bedroom upstairs were nice. I wasn't a fan of the tight spiral staircase but that is just a personal preference and won't stop me from coming back. The hot tub outside was nice, however a couple of the jets didn't seem to be working. Sitting in the hot tub in the dark and listening to the stream was magical. The owner stopped by to check on the yard and was super kind. I will definitely be looking again when we make it back.

New Years in Gatlinburg

Really enjoyed staying at Granny's River Retreat. Nice location and only a 15 minute walk to all the action in downtown Gatlinburg. Located right on the river which is very relaxing listening to the water while sitting out on the deck or the chairs out by the water. The hot tub on the screened in deck is very nice which is clean and well maintained. The cabin has 3 queen size beds which makes it very comfortable for a family of 6 six. Has a wood burning fireplace which is available during the winter months. The spiral stair case is a nice touch. It is a little narrow but manageable. The cabin is well equipped with all the things you need to feel at home. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Perfection on the river

This cabin was better than the listing described. It sits beside the river and you can enjoy the sound of water running from the porch or hot tub. It was exceptionally clean! The rooms are spacious and the location is right at the end of downtown. Would love to stay here again.
